  1. Butt in for Guthrie is the only change from the West Brom game.
  2. But do you hear them on about how they've won the world championship? Perhaps it's not his fault, perhaps it's just that he gets a lot of media attention. Either way, I don't know of too many other sports stars whose parent / agent is as high profile as Hamilton's.
  3. I don't agree with that. Lewis had a dream of being WDC, his Dad had a dream of his son being WDC - both men have worked incredibly hard to achieve their goal so what is it so wrong for him to be over-joyed that he's achieved his goal? I think people are losing focus here - Anthony is not just Lewis' Dad who's jumped on the bandwagon. He's been his advisor, manager and alongside Ron Dennis, the closest person to him throughout his career. Not many 'parents of sports stars' have devoted as much of their lives to their son's dream as Anthony Hamilton has. I don't particularly like him as a person - but I think he's getting a fucking rough deal here... I'm not too bothered either way tbh but what you've said is what I think is slightly sad about the whole situation, it does appear that he's living vicariously through his son.
  4. There's no doubting that his dad has made big sacrifices and spent a lot of time and effort in getting him where he is now but the same goes for the parents of a lot of sports stars yet to listen to Hamilton Snr you'd think he'd been controlling the car via remote control. Maybe it would be nice just to let the spotlight be on the man who actually won the Championship.
  5. I know the interview you're on about and my theory is that at that point Keegan did think everything was going well and was being promised new signings only to realise on deadline day that they had been leading him a merry dance the whole time. Also I don't see the zero communications issue as a bad thing, it's certainly preferable to a public slagging match in the media, hopefully some day we'll hear Keegan's side of the story but that's unlikely to be until the compensation problem is sorted.
  6. So exactly will I identify yous or will the hankerchief system be in use?
  7. I may pop along for this one if that's alright with you gentlemen.
  8. Anyone got a spare for Fulham?
  9. I suppose it's the last resort to start laying the blame at the chairman's door... by the way who was it you blamed for the current Spurs predicament? We have been saddled with Levy long enough for his intentions to be very clear. Can you say the same? You're right, we should give him 5 years, maybe by then he'll have come good.

  11. Well a win tomorrow will see us just 2 points off them.
  12. Even a draw will see us bottom.
  13. And then defended the grand daughter by saying that once Brand had thrust her into the spotlight she thought she would 'go to the Sun to make a little bit of money', he's so full of shit.
  14. Gomes excelling once again with an underhit pass which was intercepted by Keane.
  15. Presumably you missed the last line Well apart from that.
  16. I don't think there's anything wrong with criticising the manager where it's due and that's what the first article was doing. To be calling for his head is a bit premature but it will happen sooner or later.
  17. Sounds to me like it's got nothing to do with religion and maybe it's just that your mate is a bit of a twat.
  18. They're really going to town now... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10...ting-Queen.html Daily Mail readers are wankers to a man The best of it is that was a repeat. When it was first aired no-one said a thing about it but now they're insulted.

    NUSC

Well written letter and not unreasonable demands. Of course the meeting is highly unlikely to ever happen but it's worth a go.
  20. A few recent pics of him here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...fifth-time.html
  21. I couldn't see him getting a similar deal on a commercial station at the moment.
