Where's the cheapest place to buy it from?
  2. Tbf this forum would die without people passing off uninformed bollocks as fact.

  4. richards, senderos, skrtel, agger, pique and samba are all around the same age as him and they are much better senderos isn't better and pique is slower than well he's just really slow senderos is amazing compared to taylor no he isn't he is like. taylor is equal to anton ferdinand and michael dawson not quite, I'd rate taylor higher than those 2 but not by much senderos can't tackle can't mark can't pass and has absolutely no pace, he's not even particularly strong suppose his form of late hasnt been great (when hes been playing) but imo judging from performances throughout their careers id say senderos is the better player the only thing senderos is better at than taylor is acting (ie "oh no the ball's hit my stomach, the pain etc etc" ) he was lucky to be picked up by arsenal and was used by them when they had no other options he's the new pascal cygan ffs is cygan not still playing for villareal who are currently 2nd in the league and above barcelona who have the best team in the world? The same Cygan who has been told to find another club for next season?
  5. I don't agree, and I can't be arsed to argue. They shouldn't be a better proposition than we are, is my view, and shelling out the money is one way to prove we are better, and probably the only way right now. I don't see how having a billionaire owner makes us a better club than them right now. I think you're looking at this through black and white tinted glasses and the fact that you can't put up a defence leads me to believe that you know that yourself. But if you don't want to discuss it then fair enough, we'll agree to disagree.
  6. Ok then, which one of my points are false? Y'know your arguement is pointless unless you actually back it up with something so go on, explain why he should have signed for us.
  7. And suddenly it's an indicator that the new board clearly have no ambition. its clearly positive proof that you're a clueless cunt, if you're defending being mugged again by a club like Spurs If you were Modric why would you choose us over Spurs? They're a far more attractive proposition at the moment imo. they certainly are if they offer him more money You didn't answer my question, why should he have chosen us over them? work it out for yourself dipshit Spurs are only one place above us in the league by the way, but keep defending the fact they are smaller than us and have mugged us twice in 3 months. Long time since that last happened isn't it ? Give me a few bullet points as to why we're the more attractive proposition. Here's why I reckon he may have chosen Spurs: They've finished above us the past few seasons. They've got a world reknowned manager. They've won a cup this season. They're in Europe next season. They're based in London. When you look at it it's hard to make a case for us being the more attractive option.

  9. Rumoured on N-O that we've been back in for Sidwell but he turned us down. No idea how accurate that is. That is pretty depressing if that is true, for a couple of reasons. Only depressing because it shows the shallow nature of footballers these days (if true). Shallow why? For not wanting to play for a team currently in the bottom half of the premiership? Right-o. Don't you ever get tired of it?
  10. I disagree, I think you're always going to have certain problems when rotating players regardless of quality. I take Rafa's point about keeping players fresh at the start of the season but if the result is that when it comes to the middle of the season and you're already out of the running for the league then it really defeats the purpose. Getting off to a good start and being there or there abouts come January can result in momentum and the chase often giving players that extra 10% of energy what keeps them going until the end of the season.

  12. Has he been there 4 years now? I must admit it's strange that Robson arguably did a better job of mixing it up then. This is their 3rd CL semi in those 4 years isn't it? Potentially the 3rd CL final in that time. Amazing really. Shame about the league form although they've looked good since about Xmas on that front. No shock it coincided with him stopping the constant chopping and changing. As much as it is a cliche the saying is true, the league is your bread and butter. The CL is a great bonus but I'd prefer to see us challenging for the league than doing well in the CL, though as you say they have kicked on recently and if he survives the summer I can see next season being a critical one for Benitez.

The Usual Suspects is another I'd have on there.
  14. Definetly hard to find one with PL experience, outside of the top 4 Dunne and Lescott spring to mind as the best 2 CBs though I reckon we'd find it very hard to tempt Lescott. I just hope Dunne isn't just using the attention from us to get himself a better deal at City.
  15. Depends whether cliff jumping is classed as an extreme sport or extreme stupidity and whether she was covered for either by her insurance.

Eternal Sunshine? This a poll or just a journo's opinion?
  17. Only the entire planet! He's shit though. Even if you don't get his jokes you've got to commend him on going out there and performing a different show every night Every one of them equally as bad. Thought he was funny as fuck on his HIGNFY appearances, however his inane ramblings aren't that amusing to last for a full stand up show.

  20. Was Patrokles the 'Newcastle source'?
  21. I'm not basing it on anything other than we didn't get him, and the comments that Mort has made for some months now don't fill me with optimism that they will go for the players that a club like us ought to do. As I said, a statement or two of the intention to get into the top 4 and the aim to win a trophy or two would be more helpful, don't kid yourself I'm the only one thinking like this, because I'm not. There are lots of supporters out there who don't come onto these message boards. Do you know why he chose Spurs instead of us, he did spend time training with us didn't he ? This wasn't a statement of intent? I give up to be honest. Different to Rooney ? He chose Spurs, we didn't get our man. He didn't choose Manu or Chelsea instead of us, he chose fucking Spurs man !!! You know, Damian Duff chose us over Liverpool. I know he did, I do mention it now and again. The point being you can't look at this one deal, or even this and the Woodgate one and say it's down to the board or whatever. Players will always make certain decisions etc. I think Spurs are just a more attractive proposition than us for a number of reasons at present. Well, just right now, I'm pretty pissed off with this, the only people who can convince me they have real ambition is Mort and Ashley and to date they are far from showing it. Keegan has said he's free to spend £25m on one player should he wish to, what more do you want? There aren't many managers who can claim that.

Very different to Rooney, we had a chance of signing Modric, anyone with half a brain knew that by bidding for Rooney we would force ManU to show their hand and that he would inevitably end up there. in other words, you want the best player, that will win you the trophies, so you pay the money then ? Thanks. I don't really get your point there, please expand on it.
  23. I wouldn't believe a word Souness said, SBR on the other hand has spoken of Shepherd's interference in transfers. And whilst I don't agree with Abamovich's interference in transfers I don't think the signing of Shevchenko impacted on the rest of Mourinho's 'budget' as he seemingly had an open cheque book for a while so the point is moot. I don't want to linger on the past, I'd rather focus on the now and the future. Keegan has a budget (and a seemingly considerable one at that) and has already spoken about how he is free to spend it as he wishes. It seems he didn't want to spend too much of it on this player yet Ramos was, that's the end of the story as far as I'm concerned, all this talk of how the board has/hasn't backed him is irrelevant at this point in time.
