  1. If true then it is a risk, however one of the articles does mention that it could be much smaller than that, either way it's good to see that Ashley is prepared to back Keegan. Big Sam will be seething if Keegan gets a fortune to spend.
  2. Sensibly signing a player before his value possibly rockets following a good Euro Championships? It's just not the Newcastle way.
  3. Aye because that one has really bitten us in the ass hasn't it?
  4. Look at Control panel > Regional and language settings > Keyboards and languages and see if you've got the right keyboard settings selected.
  5. Have you got num lock on?
  6. You can do it with any bank or credit card (though the CC ones are on less certain ground at the moment). One of my banks sent me a letter the other week giving me money due to all the times they'd overcharged me despite me already claiming them all back.
  7. Just received my last 6 years worth of statements from Barclaycard, gonna add up everything I've paid to them in fines over the period and see how much the bastards owe me.
  8. Cheers lad, going brilliantly so far. Sun, 'beach', drink, gambling and some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, what more could a fella ask for?
  9. 1. Straight through no problem, obviously told a little white lie on the visa waiver form. 2. See above. 3. Hopefully not, gonna call the coppers again when I get back. And now beca use of this shite pdaI've absolutely to idea what I'm typing.
  10. so its not on the increase then ? Fact is that the amount of people coming into the country, unable to speak English, sponging off the taxpayer ie you, and taking up whatever spare affordable housing there is, increasing strain on public services, is increasing, and shows no sign of slowing down, but don't let what your brainwashed hippy schoolmaster told you influence you whatever you do. Not just you Alex. Splendid paper the Guardian like. That advert where the bloke doesn't wipe his arse with it really makes me laugh. Before you start, I don't read the Mail either. The Times wasn't it? The Game section on a Monday iirc.
  11. For a manager who has had similar results to Mourinho he has got an awful lot of undeserved shit.
  12. Hasn't low count DNA sampling now been judged inadmissable in court? That's how the bastard on trial for the Omagh bomb got off.
  13. Fuck off, you seen the state of her? I have some standards you know.
  14. Thanks for the advice, unfortunately they had already picked me up an hour before you posted. I asked them about how the bail would affect my travelling and they said there were no restrictions on it and immigration on the US side wouldn't know anything about it. I didn't take a lawyer with me though to be honest I don't think having one would have been much of a benefit, it was basically as they told me, just a discussion of the incident (which lasted two and a half fucking hours). I seemed to be lucky in getting two sound coppers, they weren't there to trick me or catch me out, they just asked me straight forward questions and were straight down the line with me about what the allegations were and what would happen next. After the tapes had stopped rolling and they were showing me out they did even comment that the whole thing was 'fucking mental' which gives me a bit of confidence in them. I'm back home at the minute and had no plans of returning to Manchester in the forseeable future so that's why I wanted to get it dealt with today though my bail states that I have to return back on the 14th May which I imagine involves me getting a flight the whole way there, turned up to the station, signing something and then getting on a plane again. It was Grey Mare Lane Station in Eastlands, not the classiest joint in the world. Oh and Parky I did have to give a DNA sample as it was a recordable offence I was arrested for and I was told that even when I am cleared it is highly unlikely to be removed from the database, but if I'm doing nothing wrong then I've nothing to worry about.
  15. As I said it's in Manchester so don't know any solicitors and don't have time to fuck around with one they've appointed. Though if Mancy is at a loose end in the morning he can feel free to come down and go Shatner on their asses.
  16. Well the policeman I was talking to made it sound like a formality, I don't even have to pay any money as far as I know, and iirc it's only certain cases where they put travel restrictions on your bail and seeing as they don't know about my holiday home in Brazil they're unlikely to see me as much of a flight risk. I'm flying from Dublin and immigration is done there so at least it won't mean me flying 7 hours only to be turned away. The worst thing about it is that it's happened in Manchester so it means I'm going to have to keep coming over to sort it out though hopefully I'll just have a chat with them tomorrow and tell them what evidence there is in my favour and I'll be fine. Oh and Paddy, mind your own fucking business.
  17. No. Take a lawyer if you can. Don't think I'll need a lawyer, as I say, the accusation is completely false and I should be able to get the evidence to prove that, more of a fucking inconvenience than anything.
  18. Nah it's the old style.
  19. So they can't take it without my consent?
  20. I've been told that I'll be finger printed, do they take DNA automatically now or is it only if you're charged with something?
  21. Basically I'm due to fly to America on Friday, the problem is that I've just got a phone call from the police about an absolutely baseless accusation and they've arranged for me to go down to the station and talk to them tomorrow, however, in order to interview me I will have to be arrested and then bailed. I know the Yanks can be strict on letting people in with a criminal record but will I have any problems if I am currently on bail?
  22. I guarantee 150% one of the casinos will have the toon game on live. You reckon? I was thinking of a pub but a casino would make sense, I'll have to check that out. Good thinking.
  23. And I'm going to be there! Well, when I say 'there' I mean Vegas rather than at the fight itself, they were looking silly money for tickets.
  24. Serves him and Sidwell right for making the stupid decision to go there in the first place.
