The thing I want to know, is how much Keegan knew about this current management structure when he signed for the club in January, was he aware of Ashley's plans for a continetnal style management team ? Surely Ashley had this in mind as soon as Fat Sham was sacked, if you rewind to that barmy night in January when we played Stoke, Keegan was in the stands with Mort, Ashley and his wife, but sat in the row in front of them was Jiminez and Vettere (I've highlighted them in the picture below) this in my mind proves beyond doubt that this was planned at the time, and Keegan probably knew exactly what was happening when he put pen to paper.

I'm still not convinced, I think Ashley and Co have shit a brick at the reaction of the fans, I think I can hear the sound of frantic back peddling.

We need the whole story on this, Ashley is being painted as the villain for sacking Keegan, but there is every chance Keegan has had a huffy strop and has quit, leaving us firmly in the learch, I have every sympathy for Keegan if transfers were being engineered behind his back as this makes his position as manager ( as opposed to just a coach ) pretty much untenable. I just think we need to hear the whole story before we string Mike Ashley up.
