OK, ta anyway, it seems the bloody thing is downloaded anyway, its asking me to install, and it seems there isn't an option to cancel.

I'm running a less than legitimate version of XP Pro, and following recent advice I had turned off the auto update feature, but I've noticed to day I have the icon sitting in my systray telling me that I have an update ready to install. I'm 99% sure that its the recent Genuine advantage nag download, from what I can see the only options I have is "install" or "custom install" I don't appear to have an option to ignor or cancel, and I fear if I reboot it might install anyway. Any advice ???

My daughter had a day off school today so we watched Back to the Future and then Raiders of the lost ark, it was the first time she had seen either of them, clearly she gained far more from watching those than she could have from being at school today !

I don't recall too many of my dreams although I don't doubt I dream everynight, however when I do dream I always without fail wake up before the best bit !

Safe to say I never buy the NME anymore, and I take Jo's praise with a vat load of salt. he's a one trick pony and that trick isn't particularly impressive 140073[/snapback] His first Album "I Get wet" is ok, but far from great, and his second album "The Wolf" is fucking terrible, but the track "She is beautiful" is fucking awesome in my opinion.

what is coming out of the freeview box ? a scart or co-ax ariel cable ???? usually a freeview box should have a scart output, you connect that to AV1 on the VCR, then to read that you just switch between inputs on the VCR, you don't have to tune the channels in on the VCR as the signal is coming in to the VCR via Scart, you should have the choice of viewing channels that you manually tune it or an input signal from Scart, on my kids VCR the Scart input channel is L1, if I set the VCR to L1 channel I get whatever the scart is connected to, in their case a DVD player.
