The New World Fantastic cinematography, but dreadfuly boring, with boringly sentimental monologues, Colin Farrell once again demonstrates his ability to do any accent as long as it's Irish.

Yer kidding of course, ......aren't ye? All three of the missed penalties were 'poor' in my opinion and I'll bet I'm not alone in thinking that. 155428 I agree, Lampards was poor as was Gerrard's, Carragher's second penalty was poor compared to his first, but Ricardo was excellent and shouldn't be ignored. 155429 I think Carragher's second shot was poor because he went for the other side and I think Ricardo knew he would do that. If he had gone for the same side the second try I think he would have outfoxed Ricardo. 155435 absolutely, it had the look of panic, he changed his mind and paid the price.

Yer joking........aren't ye? D'ye think his tactics/decisions were to have Rooney sent off and Lampard, Gerrard, and Carrager, to miss penalties. Despite Rooney's sending off the game was there to be won on the penalty shoot-out, d'ye think Sven had anything to do with 3 missed penalties? 155409 So a shit world cup squad selection, shit team selections, shit tactics, shit formation, shit substitutions, had nothing to to do with Sven Goran Eriksson ? Yeah right. 155419 C'mon man, everything you say had everything to do with stupid Sven but when the final whistle blew and the score was nowts each the final result lay with the penalty takers, not Sven or Scolari. They missed 2, ...........we missed 3, .......end of a dream, ......end of of a story. 155423 We weren't good enough ! I'm not pushing all the blame on Sven, far from it, too many "top" players didn't produce the goods and we are out ! and deservedly so, but to say we are out purely because we missed more penaltys than Portugal is ignoring the incompetence throught the whole England set up. Clueless manager + under performing players = plane ticket back home
-
Agreed, no one is without blame, from the top to the bottom we weren't good enough.
-
His penalty miss was one of the very few highlights of the match for me.

He had an outstanding game today.
-
Like I said before, I hope he stays so he gets the shit he deserves at every away ground all season long.
-
The wanker wants out of ManUre, he's sealed his ticket out of Old Trafford today imo.
-
Italy, I couldn't bring myself to support France or Germany, plus I enjoy Italian football.
-
Thoroughly deserved win for France, Brazil, like England, too many "top" players left their A-Game at home.
-
Easy to say in hindsight but he fucked up by changing his mind, his second pen was very poor compared to the first, looked like panic to me.
-
Agreed there like. He was fucking immense today. Where the fuck was he finding the energy to keep popping up up front in extra time?! He's the English player I felt most sorry for for losing today - really didn't deserve it. 155357 I'll be honest, he wouldn't have been in my squad prior to the world cup, but I've got to give credit where it is due, Owen Hargreaves was phenominal today, one of the very few England players to deserve any praise whatsoever.
-
You mean get an ex-pro to teach a professional footballer how to kick/pass a ball? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. 155275 Isn't that called "Coaching" ?
-
To be fair I think nature has already beaten you to it ! She looks like she's been bobbing for apples in the chip pan !
-
I can't see the justification for the critisism of David Beckham, if it wasn't for him England would have been home before the postcards.
-
I don't, I hope he gets to visit every Premiership ground in the country and gets the shit he deserves.
-
Its ok, we've got McLaren as a replacement......
-
-
We should be looking at England's failings rather than pointing fingers at the opposition.
-
Apart from stamping on the guys bollocks and pushing someone aggressively English moronic hard done by mentality....we deserved to lose. It was lame. EDITED FOR BOOZE SPELLING 155302 Agreed, no room for moaning, we were fucking rubbish and thoroughly deserve to be going home, no excuses or blame, simply not good enough.
