  1. odd for someone who likes to present himself as such a scholar to not see the value of being able to carry so many technical papers and reference materials in something so small even us peasants can throw a few trashy romance novels on it for our week in benidorm and have constant access to wikipedia to boot it's almost like you're trolling just for the sake of it
  2. easily his best option in that spot, you'd have no doubt creamed yourself if it came off Attempting a back heel (and kicking the ball into his own leg and to a Blackburn player) was his best option? Sorry, but NO. Barton got frustrated in the second half and got progressively worse with his crossing, and set pieces. You can understand his frustration. you've missed my point tbh
  3. well, I should say CARROLL was exactly what was needed, obv
  4. easily his best option in that spot, you'd have no doubt creamed yourself if it came off very worried about him and tioté going good performance overall, ironically think kuqi could have been exactly what was needed on the end of enrique's balls and should have got at least 20 mins
  5. where da moon come from? metyer did dat?
  6. I see pardew has already changed his position from couldn't stand in the way of a transfer request to, couldn't afford to turn down that kind of offer.
  7. exactly what went through my mind, the downgrading begins here
  8. "Lets all calm the f*ck down eh?" he said, so angry he just started typing words at random
  9. if either party had really not wanted this deal to go through, it wouldn't have gone through. I don't blame carroll all that much, because I don't have to trust him to run a fucking football club. then again, given how many fans think we had to accept this deal, it's harder to blame ashley for doing so.
  10. why stop there? renegotiating his contract so soon because of the exceptional circumstances of another club offering fucking 3-4 times his current deal would have thrown the entire north east economy into complete chaos. where would it end? god knows how many lives this decision has saved. thank god for mike ashley.
  11. Patently bollocks. While I'm not defending the move there is no denying that Liverpool are a bigger club than us. And a club who will be ahead of us for many years to come. You live in Ireland, you are Irish, you will die in Ireland, you are not English, you are not geordie, you never will be, you will never live in England, and you will never live Newcastle or Liverpool. Your Irish roots emphasise your view on football without doubt you will class Rangers and Celtic as big clubs, however nufc.com sum it up. Spot on. You are a mug and I would like you to pipe down in your Belfast home. this parochial attitude is very familiar to those of us from capital cities. the backwards, small town inferiority complex makes it very hard for you to view the world objectively. obviously plenty of the smarter people on this forum show how easy it is to break that stereotype, by virtue of strong logic skills, but it's not for everyone. I think it's commendable that people of superior intelligence like ewerk give you the time to express yourself, where most of us just nod and smile. they appreciate that you at least try so hard, and you should be grateful for that. it's not unusual for some of us more modern types to have spent a lot of time and gained a lot of experience of far off lands, a half hour or more by plane! but it's very brave of you to have ventured as far off as the big smoke at your relative age, so you should be proud too. What an absolute tool, I think it's commendable that I haven't blocked your posts till this point, as you consistently have very little to say, and my point still stands, and to be fair Ewerk almost agreed later on, the major difference between the clubs is ambition and where their owners clearly are prepared to put the club in the future, nothing to do with "SIZE". just turning your own rhetoric round on you, would have thought that would be obvious, if that's what you were at
  12. I'd have a hard time saying anything else to my family if I'd just left my local club

we'll never attract a player nearly as good at the moment, regardless of what he ends up going for.
