*big man in sky make rainy face

yep, that would be the key for me. I don't know if you can really compare the increased standard of living of previous generations, people who will never work a day in their lives live better than my grandparents did back then. There's a school pic of my granddad somewhere and most of them don't even have any shoes on ffs

JOC was one of the stars of sliders too
-
No way! Is that true? 1/3 confirmed

tbf mark, who I haven't seen post here in years, wandered in here and predicted it like he was just stating a fact and fucked off again messiah tbh
-
didn't hit a nerve with my mention of middle class nonces in that other thread did I? I don't think you ever really get away from your roots, so working class. then again I think a lot of what I define middle class as, is trying desperately to look like you're better than others (materially I guess?), which plenty of working class types aspire to, so fuck knows what I think

None of his threads go anywhere. I wish he could just move on. I wonder if forums are a bit like the big brother house like that, you think you want rid of anyone vaguely annoying until all you're left with is a few middle class nonces sat around drinking tea
-
please note the one time I chose to get involved I trolled a leazes thread that was going nowhere good anyway
-
leazes got what he got because he treats people like shite on here and thinks it's acceptable behavior. he had it coming imo.
-
not sure which one he's got right tbh
-
so deluded they're supporting marseille
-
france is populated by deluded celtic fans?
-
You should be giving odds tbh. It's not an expectation, it's a concern. only if pp feels it's unlikely, which would defeat the purpose of the bet?

I advise winding him up for a while, then putting him back on ignore

can't believe people turning their noses up at the europa league, though I can see the logic. it's important to the players, keeping good ones, signing better ones. it's important to progress. having said that, I would say there's a very slim chance of qualifying. thought we were safely mid table this season under hughton, was genuinely concerned when he was sacked, but with the pleasant surprise of 6 points from the last 2, I'd say we're safe at least.

Apparently so. For an extra £22 million we could've signed James Milner this summer will be a shame to see hatem heading off to city for 50m in the summer
-
key phrase there for anyone who can't be arsed to read that horse shit. along with a complete lack of any quotes, or even a club insider congrats on being even more misleading with post title than this nothing article!

you're right that it's a risk AP, but I'm very glad to see ashley take it, both in terms of thinking it's a good bet, and that he is willing to invest in it
