  1. Just threw the same one on meself - long shot like but worth it for a quid, cheers for the heads up !
  2. Bilbao looked openly gutted with that, such a shame as well.
  3. Agreed! i feel like it's folly to underestimate everton at this stage of the season, they may not have anything left to play for but they've had a steady run of form and are looking incredibly solid lately. But i've got a good feeling about this game! the lads will be up for it and Ba will be out to spank someone and prove he's not crocked hit (not that i think he has like!)
  4. I've felt for the past couple of games that Ba's dry spell of goals is going to climax with him scoring important goals for us by the end of the season - odds on for Ba to score the goal(s) that get us the points and put us through to the CL
  5. Come on norwich, you deserve the win!
  6. Newcastle 2 Man City 3 Villa 1 Spurs 2 Bolton 1 West Brom 1 Fulham 3 Sunderland 1 QPR 1 Stoke 1 Wolves 1 Everton 2 Man Utd 4 Swansea 2 Blackburn 1 Wigan 2 Liverpool 2 Chelsea 2
  7. not as far as im aware of - with the exception of everyone barring the press and chelsea fans admitting he's a vicious cunt as well as a shite player
  8. 10m minutes of added time?! jebus, hope my prediction doesnt come true, that would just be chelseas luck in these games of late though!
  9. Nailed on for chelsea to equalise / score the winner in the extra time added on for mikels assault there . shameful he got nothing, mutliple replays and looks intentional each time
  10. "An inch either side of the post and that would have been in!"
  11. Fucking shambolic, did well not to voncede a penalty there, but long balls and a yellow card within 5 mins, gonna be a long night
  12. i still can't understand why pardew left it so late to change things up - it was obvious by the end of the first half that we were chasing shadows and wigan needed to just crowd us out to stop us gaining any ground in their half. It sounds weird but i honestly think we should've brought shola on, we were far too impatient and wasteful with any of our time with the ball in their half bar that 10 minute spell where we hit the woodwork repeatedly. Having someone capable of holding the ball up deep in their half and allowing the rest of the lads to get up and into a position/start dragging people around like he's capable of would have lead to a lot more situations where something potentially could've come off for us. As opposed to getting 40 yards away from the box and lumping it into the keepers hands hoping the one player in the area might nick it off him. Terrible result, and as people have pointed out they exploited us the same way norwich, chelsea and spurs did - straight lines and pace. I'm not going to try and belittle the effort the defence have put in over the past 6 games as they've been incredibly efficient (if a little shakey at times) but simmo and williamson were appalling and fell apart entirely after the first goal went in - hell even in the last few minutes it took a goal line clearance from colo to stop fucking sammon of all people scoring, you let a pile of wank like him round the keeper and have an open net and it speaks volumes as to the problems we had. But taking nothing away form wigan, they were just a lot more up for it, they got themselves into that mood where they can just hit from anywhere and likely it is going in (di santo says hi) - cisse had a couple of chances like it and hit the woodwork, not going to say theres nothing we couldve done to at least consolate a goal or two, but it really does just seem they wanted it, we were shellshocked, and even when we worked the ball well into positions and opportunities we would've scored in the last 6 games, nothing came of it. Between ben arfa and cisse we had ample opportunities (few though they were) to win the damn thing, really was just not our day.
