1. Was he not recorded saying he would take a bung though? Might be wrong, I lost interest after a while.

3. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...at+Owen+options England assistant coach Terry Venables has hinted that Kevin Nolan and Scott Parker could be in with a chance of replacing Owen Hargreaves in the Three Lions squad. The Bayern Munich midfielder will miss the upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers against Macedonia and Croatia after breaking his leg whilst playing for his club, bringing an end to a period in which he has excelled for the national side and transformed perceptions of his value to the team. Some commentators have speculated that his absence, coupled with Aaron Lennon's injury, could lead to a recall for erstwhile captain David Beckham, but head coach Steve McClaren was a number of options at his disposal. In terms of a like-for-like holding player, Venables says England already have a number of potential 'plan b's' within their current squad. However McClaren's right hand man also admitted that Parker and Nolan, captains of Newcastle and Bolton respectively, have been catching the eye. "Who gets his job? It is too early to say," Venables wrote in his column in the News of the World. "The crux of the matter is that we have more options than people think. "Michael Carrick has performed well in central midfield for England in the past and operates in a similar way to Owen. "Jermaine Jenas has had fewer opportunities but could certainly do the job while Phil Neville has been outstanding for Everton. "Ledley King and Jamie Carragher have briefly stepped up from defence to supplement England's midfield and, if work is put in during training, should not be scored of doing so again. "Then there are players who have yet to break into the England team but impress for their clubs like Newcastle's Scott Parker and Kevin Nolan of Bolton." Nolan is certainly hopeful of getting the call from McClaren after being completely overlooked by his predecessor Sven Goran Eriksson despite impressing frequently last season. The Trotters skipper says he feels sorry for the stricken Hargreaves, but is determined to take any chance that may come his way with both hands. "I feel really sorry for Owen, it's a nasty thing to happen to anyone, and came when he was really starting to make his mark in an England team," said Nolan. "But that can sometimes open the door for other players and it would be nice if I could get the call. "I'll just try to concentrate on Bolton and if I'm doing really well here I know Steve McClaren will give me a chance. "It's not extra pressure, it's nice to know he is keeping an eye on me, something the previous manager didn't do. "It gave me a bit of a boost when I heard and hopefully if I can keep at my best for Bolton then the call will come."
4. This is a serious poll ! So howcome you've got a Baba option?
5. Outclassed? Bit over the top imho. As zico has already said, both sides looked average, only difference was that they created chances.

N'Zogbia

I'd much rather see the Zog partner Parker in the middle as opposed to Emre.

E-mail help

The last few weeks I've somehow started receiving emails that are just giving me links to porn sites (and they are disgusting before anyone asks to be forwarded copies ). Anyhoo... just wondering if anyone had any idea how I could stop myself receiving them without having to get them forwarded to my junk e-mail folder, as that isn't always working. Or am I stuck with them? Cheers
8. Quite right, if parker keeps on playing like this he'll be in the England squad no time. Plus I thought Emre was better today than hes been for quite some time. We had good possesion and created decent chances. Thats what drives me up the wall though, we dominate the whole game and hardly give them a sniff but what do you know we gift them two goals out of nothing. Typical Newcastle The whole team suffers just because one or two people keep on making the same mistakes again and again. So bloody frustrating!!!!!! Seriously? I thought he was shite.

I talk to him over MSN and he seems canny enough to me like...
10. In other words, "Our fans are idiots. All I need to do is give them big money signings and they will be blind to everything else." I missed this yesterday, but that's how low his opinion is of the fans' intelligence. 191776 the truth hurts. He's right again, the truth hurts. Some fans are idiots. Sign a quality player and its a PR stunt, sign a journeyman and the club lacks ambition and is shite, seems to be the order of the day and the attitude of many. 191808 Is that you Freddy?

15. There's your problem - it's bug-ridden... Retro-fit v7.5 and I bet your transfers start to improve! 186222 Aye that worked. Wish they would have software working properly before they decide to realise it.. Cheers
16. There's your problem - it's bug-ridden... Retro-fit v7.5 and I bet your transfers start to improve! 186222 Hmm.. I'll try installing 7.5 again. Just found it weird that it's just me who's getting this problem. Cheers
17. Recently my file transfers over MSN have become very, very slow. Was just wondering if anyone on here has had similar problems in the past and found a solution? I have tried the obvious such as checking my firewall isn't blocking anything regarding MSN, MSN settings etc. I am using Windows Live Messenger, Windows XP firewall and connect to the net via a modem; not a router. Cheers people
18. Yep. On Skysports too http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...+out+Woody+move Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has rejected reports linking him with a move for Real Madrid ace Jonathan Woodgate. Reports on Friday suggested Liverpool were lining up a loan move for the former Leeds and Tottenham defender. Real are thought to be willing to listen to offers for Woodgate as he does not figure in Fabio Capello's long-term plans. Speculation had suggested that Benitez may move for Woodgate after Jamie Carragher, Gabriel Paletta, John Arne Riise and Stephen Warnock all picked up knocks "We are not talking with Woodgate," said Benitez. "It is a rumour and the first I heard of it was in the newspapers. There is no interest in this player. "It is true we have injuries to defenders. Carra is injured and can't play for England. It's not a serious injury and he could be back for the Merseyside derby. "Riise and Warnock are out for 10 to 15 days and Gabriel Paletta is injured after he had a kick on his knee." Turning his attentions to the UEFA Champions League draw, Benitez was fairly satisfied after Liverpool were pitted against PSV Eindhoven, Galatasaray and Bordeaux "This isn't the worst group for us to be in but it isn't the best group either," added Benitez. "It's never easy against Galatasaray; PSV have quality and European tradition and Bordeaux are a team with good players. "But it will be better to have qualified before going to Galatasaray."
19. I assumed that the people who had joined him were NUFC fans having a bit crack on
