I reckon he is, it makes so much more sense for it to be him than Tyrion. Its going to be the same thing as the mad king, there'll be a battle going on, Cersei will want to use the wildfire, Jaime will kill Qyburn to stop him going and eventually kill Cersei

And you know what else?!

What do you have against Lineker?

"Ah great I can spell out brexit in these spaces...shit theres not actually enough room...running out of room, I'll have to put two letters in this one...but that'll make it look stupid, if there are only two things in one of the boxes...smiley face!"

We've still no idea how the characters so many people are annoyed at still being alive are going to contribute to the actual ending of the series, to complain that he whole show was a bust because this one episode didn't pan out the way you may have wanted is, frankly, fucking stupid. The plan failed, the plan wasn't executed properly and crumbled on first contact with the wights...which is that thing that happens to plans in military combat, theres a saying about it and everything. the end of the episode was no ones plan, just something Bran and Melisandre knew could happen. Honestly, I'm glad you're in here Fish saying things like "but if laymen like me can spot huge gaps in logic and feasibility of the plan" because its makes me explaining the path of a dagger through the show or talking about the subtleties of various prophecies not quite the biggest dork in the thread.

Looks good... Probably

Had a look at the new Periphery album?

Fantastic! We've been doing a lot of Pink Floyd at my lessons recently and I've literally just been for a tattoo consultation where I will be adding some more Pink Floyd to my right forearm alongside the DSotM one I already have

I think it about doubled every time I did see him until I stopped being willing to pay.

And there are still Tory MPs claiming their losses as a sign that people want them to get on with Brexit.

I liked that about him tbh, it made him an actual character with a flaw rather than some emotionless machine baddie. People have complained about him not fighting Jon as if he had any actual reason to, hes seen Jon twice(I think) before the battle of winterfell and in that time has seen him kill a white walker in two swings of a sword at hardhome and decimate dozens of wights north of the wall when they were trying to capture one last season, hes always hung back rather than risking himself, only dropping that guard when he thought he'd won. He'd have been incredibly stupid to take the risk of a fight with his goal so close so he didn't, instead doing all he could to preserve his own existence whilst still achieving his goal.

Bonamassa has just announced a show in Christchurch later this year but his ticket prices remain absolutely through the roof. £125 for the floor seats down to £50 to be up in the gods. It cost me less to see Queen...

Final shot of the show, Danaerys sits on the throne during her coronation, cut to Bronn with the crossbow on in the balconies somewhere, pulls the trigger, cut to black. Alternative, Dany gets the throne, but the foreshadowing of Jenny of oldstones comes to be pass and she has lost absolutely everyone who ever meant anything to her in pursuit of it. Tyrion is loyal to Sansa (or dead) Jons dead, Greyworm and Missandei leave, Jorahs already dead. She has no one left, but she has the throne.

Ok Noelie does this sort of thing quite often but this one is actually relatively important, Salah is the guy who plays for liverpool. Sala is the guy Cardiff signed who died in a plane crash earlier this year.

The one prophecy that has rung true so far is the one made to Cersei which says that her younger brother will kill her, which could be either of them or maybe Arya wearing a face. Buuuut that bit hasn't been in the show yet so it may not be in at all.

Barca Ajax should be a lovely final though if the ties stay as they are.

They take 30% for a sale don't they?

Major characters have very rarely been killed in battle in GoT and its been continued here, they die unexpectedly in smaller circumstances, ambushes and assassinations ( ) or as a result of the game. I'm far more interested to see how the remaining threads play out now that the "big bad" is out of the way and we're back to relatively human stories, the lannister siblings(will bronn do it? Who will kill cersei? Where are Tyrions true loyalties between his family, his queen and someone who he is clearly affectionate for as setup last ep in Sansa), Jon and Danearys(does Jon even want the throne is he can take it? Can he prove his claim? Will Dany accept it?), CLEGANEBOWL, how are the major houses going to be re situated since half of them are completely dead, the mormonts, freys, baratheons, tyrells, tarlys, boltons and umbers are all out of legitimate heirs off the top of my head. An assassin killing a king in GoT makes far far more sense than a massive battle and a duel with an honourable warrior doing the deed.

Wandering spiders... have a lovely time!

I don't think she is, considering that GoT likes to put a bit a bit of a twist on traditional fantasy (ancient prophecies coming exactly true being a mega-trope of most fantasy) who's to say at this point that the prophecy wasn't bullshit and just believed by Melisandre as a personal justification for the things she was doing? The prophecy never states that Azor Ahai reborn will kill the Night King, but that "the darkness shall flee before him" (or her as established last season) there is plenty of metaphorical darkness still as work in Westeros that may need to flee from someone, Danaerys certainly has the strongest claim based on the full wording of the prophecy There aren't really any more mystics in the ranks of the living who really believe in/serve the lord of light anymore, we've seen one or two other red priestesses in Essos who might make an appearance if that thread is to be tied up...

There is, twitter, reddit(even the usually overwhelmingly positive subs for GoT on there) are rife with it. That 100% couldn't have worked, the night king was cocky towards the end but hes not necessarily stupid, just flawed, if he'd been allowed to just walk up he would've known there was something amiss, the fact that Aryas interjection wasn't really anyones plan (apart from Bran and Melisandre who hadn't told anyone else about it) is exactly why it worked out.
