On the lighter side of gaming for once... Stardew Valley was released last year but is picking up more traction after picking up a following with some high profile streamers and its subsequent release on the Switch. I've had it on PC for a while but felt it was missing something, enter the Xbox one version. Sitting back, controller in hand in a much more relaxed position than mouse and keyboarding and Stardew Valley started making a lot more sense. It's twee, its cutesy and its absolutely brilliant. If you're after something a little bit relaxed give it a whirl, its great.

Its needs to be able to move around a little within the house and other places, I'm also hoping to move to NZ for a year or so fairly soon and would like to take something decent with me so laptop it is.

Its a desktop replacement, we've got a little notebook that does fine for travel and light use.

So my old one is very much on its last legs. Its screen doesn't work (its permanently attached to a screen now) its keyboard just decides I'm holding down the / key sometimes. It is limping on for a bit but its days are numbered. My last couple of machines have been from PCSpecialist who I'd have no hesitation with buying from again but I wonder if there are any other places I should be looking first?

Oh yeah, theres a ton of work going on. Lots of areas can't be built on anymore so they're just being turned into parkland over time and there are a bunch of new rules as to what type of building can be put up. The way its described doesn't bear out though, it isn't so intrusive that someone who lives in/around a city in england would ever think about it from what I saw. Some people described it was being like a ghost town as well which was total horseshit, we were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was just a pleasantly busy place, not heaving, not dead.
