I didn't get one. Could my legend status be slipping?

I had a Spurs fan patient at work yesterday who commented on my Newcastle tie. His words were "When you came over did you decide it was easier to follow a small club than a big one? This way no one can accuse you of jumping on any bandwagons." That's when I decided he was a cunt and I made sure his scan was delayed by about 25 minutes.

Now is where I get my payback after the long, cold winter. You soft bastard. When it gets to 45 degrees then you can talk to me about heatwaves. I slept well last night UNDER my duvet and it was much warmer in Harrow than it was in the north. Once again, anyone complaining about this so called "heat" is softer than Scott's appendage in the presence of a hot, naked female.

Well I am absolutely gutted I couldn't make it. I'm sure Cath passed on that some fucking bastard broke into the flat on Friday night while we were all inside asleep and made off with the TV, DVD player and both my flatmates lost their laptops. I'm at work and busy so I haven't had the chance to go through the thread completely so I'm just going to assume that everyone had fun except for Cath (from the texts I got it seemed she missed me a little too much). But yeah, I guess the only positive was that none of my stuff was pinched.

Am I allowed to come for the whole thing? I just found out that I'm not allowed to work the Saturday through a few legal issues (ie, my locum agency saying they'll sue the hospital and me), so I will be able to make it up for the game. Add me to the exiles team.

I spoke to catmag last night about all this, I may have to do some overtime at work on Saturday morning. The waiting lists here are out of control so they run a Saturday list from time to time. If I am working I should be finished by 1030, 1100 at the latest. If that's the case I can't guarantee being around to play football but should make the game and definitely the dinner. I'm still hoping the working falls through seeing as I'm the scourge of the NHS and am demanding a high OT rate. You don't want me at football anyway, being Aussie automatically makes me better than all of you. But I'll definitely be coming out for dinner afterwards, Japanese I believe? Hopefully the waiters are real Japanese and not the fake kind (ie, Korean) they have in Southampton because I am looking forward to insulting Gemmill in Japanese to the waiters and hoping they spit in his dinner. Payback seeing as he's my mortal enemy and all.

Other than my obvious reply of 'comic books' I like to watch sport when England is playing and cheer for whoever's up against them. I also like to send dirty texts to catmag.

I think that our qualification for the second round shows that Oceania truly does deserve an automatic World Cup qualification spot. We made the second round while teams like the Czech Rebublic, Poland, Serbia and Croatia did not. Europe gets too many places, places that should be spread around the world. Give South America four places, and take one away from Europe to be given to Oceania. Discuss.

If we can get past Italy we can go all the way, does anyone fancy us going through? Personally I'm more worried about this match than any other so far, including the Brazil game. I have indeed. Generally I have it cut to a grade 2 every few weeks so I've gone from having too much hair to an almost skinhead. How are you going anyway? Uni should be done by now yeah? It seemed to me that only Prso looked dangerous, I think he'll be the only concern that the Aussie defence will have. And I hope someone takes out Joe Simunic's knees.
