Agreed, although I thought Butt and Geremi were excellent, I think playing both of them is too negative, should sacrifice one of them for a creative midfielder. Are you having a giraffe? they were absolutely shite and how people can put up with creating no fucking chances in a home game is beyond me like. I thought Butt looked class generally. Geremi didn't have his best game though. I wouldn't complain too much if Steven Carr were hung from the neck until dead, and (INGRELAND INTERNATIONAL) Steven Taylor made some howlers. Why he's such a darling of the hardcore supporters I can't fathom. Despite his frequent strength of tackle he's as prone to error as Bramble.

I sit/stand with the ultras and stood up to applaud at full time, but felt like a pariah for doing so. Much discontentment around me. I did point out we're undefeated, but people didn't seem to want to hear it.

It's nothing more than coincidence that he's fit again just before an England game. He's not using us to get match fit at all. 8 games for England in the time he's only played 14 for his club. I make that nigh on 40% of Englands games and less than 15% of ours. Coincidence or not, it's a pisser. If he's so injury prone maybe it's time he cut down the number of games he plays and retires from internationals so he can perform for the club that pay his wages. It'll not happen, if he could win a trophy with Newcastle, or beat Bobby Charltons record with goals in England friendlies, I'm guessing he'd choose the latter.
-
The fact is, if any big club had come in for him he'd have been away. Really glad he's got more competition for his place than Ameobi and Sibierski now. I'd like to have seen Allardyce test his commitment by asking him not to play for England in his recouperative stage. Beyond pissed off with him using us to get match fit just before national games.

While I understand the sad face, I think this is excellent. Exactly the kind of thing Freddy the Hutt wouldn't contemplate.

No great shame in 45,000 like. Looking at last years averages, if we got that every match we'd still be the third best attended club. For a team that's finished 13th, 7th and 14th the last 3 years it's a small drop off. Arsenal have had loads of empty seats in the Emirates too haven't they? Isn't the general trend currently a drop in attendances and viewing figures?

3 fellow season ticket holders can't make it today. I was tasked with redistributing their seats. Could only get rid of 1. Couldn't GIVE the other 2 away.

I need to watch more Call My Bluff. Or Never Mind The Full Stops. Which I do quite enjoy when i catch it. Julian Fellowes is quite a humorous chap. Anyway, sorry Ghoulert. This place has shared dorms for less than £20 a night, and double rooms for around £40. http://www.sakura-hotel.co.jp/sakura-hotel_rates.html Note that it also states "Day Time Rates -- 2,100 Yen for 4 hours / 735 Yen for an hour, per person including tax." About £10 for somewhere she can "Love you long time", £4 for somewhere to get "sucky, sucky".

Not really, but it never stops Fish. Btw Ghoulert, I'd try N-O for a better response. More posters and more foreign posters in particular. I bet Rob's been mind. Would I have to say "demure from it"? It's an adhjective rather than a verb isn't it? Not sure you can use it as the latter. It's generally only applied to shyness/modesty in women I think. You mean as in 'shy away from' I take it? I'm honestly not sure mind, I just haven't seen it used in that context. Perhaps I don't demure, maybe I balk, but to me that suggests I scoff at it, when I'm actually quite sad about it. Needs a new word to be invented.

Every few months I think to myself "Right, I'm definitely going to organise a trip to Tokyo" normally after some film or other that's based there. Then I realise the astronomical cost of such a venture and demure*. The idea of staying in one of them bed size rooms with a curtain separating you from everyone else would never be cheap enough to consider. *Can you use that word there? I dunno, but it sounded right when I wrote it.

What fucking size shirt has he got? He's away for the villa game, but I'll get a photo of it and hoy it up when he's back.

University. I fucking hated the subjects I chose at A-level. Thankfully now i'm doing something I really enjoy. What's that? Plummeting into an ever wosening debt, watching that smarmy gyet on ITV who replaced Trisha, smoking copius amounts of hash, playing with your instrument, lying about getting laid, buying a pint of scotch and making it last all night, growing a zany hairstyle, surviving on pasta, watching 80's throwbacks like Timmy Mallet in the union and larving it in a really ironic fashion and taking home anything you find in the street. My view of student life is derived entirely from The Young ones, Porky's and Animal House.

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Sorry.

Brock - Well done, which subjects? Skol - Enough for what? Them results are screaming "change direction!"

The last season of the Simpsons I've seen all episodes from is series 8. Just got series 9 on DVD and some of the ones I haven't seen are hilarious. The one where Homer gets a gun is genius, as is the Lord of the Flies one. "So the children learned how to function as a society, and eventually they were rescued by, oh, let's say.. Moe" Canyonero is superb too.
