What do you think of it? I've had it for a while now but I've not been able to finish it yet. 154322 I've only just got it and I'm only halfway through, but it's canny. Did you Like School of the Flower? I absoloutley love that and can't see The Sun Awakens matching it, but so far so good. Do you have the compilation Devendra Banhart put together called Golden Apples of the Sun? There's a lush Six Organs song on there called Hazy SF.

Donna Sumeria. Sounds like Mission of Burma's tribute to Ms Summer and her classic disco track I Feel Love. And bloody good it is too. Not one of those shit punk covers you normally get where they take the piss out of a cheesy pop track, just a good punk song with a slight nod to another great track. The album is The Obliterati.

Pirates of the Carribean? Did you get the DVD? The scene they cut with the octopus was dire. I've never cringed so much. -
You must've all seen the advert now. It's the tune that goes "Put me in your suitcase, Let me help you pack, cos you're never coming back" Called At The Hop. Now rush out and buy.

Well all the funny stories are about him kicking the shit out of her ex. Do they work on wedding days?
-
Right, the time has come. Only a week to go so I've had a bash at my speech. I'm a wedding virgin, so if you fancy reading it ang giving me constructive criticism I'd appreciate it.... Names have been amended to protect the innocent. Too long? Short? Shit? Abusive? Any hints?

http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6458 Wasn't you was it? 150944 Don't think so (I was the only Geordie). We generally stuck to "Wrighty/Dixon is a wanker".

Back at work now. Had a quality time though. We were right by Alexanderplatz. Which was about 5 metro stops from Brandenburg gate and Fanfest, but also had a few squares with screens up itself Relying on table service to get a drink in was annoying and not conducive to stag do style annihilation, but nevertheless, we managed to get reasonably hammered each night. Highlight was watching the Argentina game in the middle of fanfest in 33 degree heat followed by the biggest thunderstorm I’ve ever been caught in. Went to Brandenburg gate to give Lee Dixon and Ian Wright some shit and cheer on Wor Al, but I don’t think they heard us. Appeared on a German music channel request show type thing, but wasn’t really “down with the kids” asking for Johnny Cash and EPMD, got funny looks. Settled for 3 lions in the end. The Berliners couldn't have been friendlier. The only rudeness was from the women spurning my drunken advances, but that's a worldwide phenomenon. Only in Berlin they all seemed better looking.

A German family head out one Saturday to do some shopping. While in the sports shop the son picks up an England football shirt and says to his sister, "I've decided to be an England supporter and I would like this for my birthday." His big sister is outraged by this and promptly whacks him round the head and says, "Go talk to your mother." So off goes the little lad with the white and red football shirt in hand and finds his mother. "Mum?" "Yes son?" "I've decided I'm going to be an England supporter and I would like this shirt for my birthday". The mother is outraged at this, promptly whacks him around the head twice and says, "Go talk to your father." Off he goes with the football shirt in hand and finds his father. "Dad?" "Yes son?" "I've decided I'm going to be an England supporter and I would like this shirt for my birthday." The father is absolutely livid and promptly whacks his son around the head 4 times and says "No son of mine is ever going to be seen in THAT!" About half an hour later they're all back in the car and heading towards home. The father turns to his son and says; "Son, I hope you've learned something today?" The son says, "Yes dad I have." "Good son, what is it?" The son replies, "I've only been an England supporter for an hour and already I hate you German B@stards"

We're on a stag do so I wouldn't have thought a large group of lads would get much trouble. Of course, I'll have my grandad's bayonet in case the vile hun tries anything.

Never had a clue it was on, sounds canny though

Where should I go? I'm under the impression the only music they play is either David Hasselhoff or mental Eurotrance. Anywhere with more of a worldheadquarters ambience? One of the lads I'm going with is black too and the media seem to think we should stay away from certain areas of Berlin, but don't say which. Any guidance would be appreciated. Ta.
