There's not really that much to discuss about Big Trouble in Little China though is there? The discussions of good films with any kind of depth can be most engrossing. For example -
I liked Capote. He was a reet twat. I'm reading The Great Movies by Roger Ebert. Apparently he's recently suffered complications after cancer surgery Get well soon Rog!

The Russian singing in his brown underpants is hilarious. Storytelling is another hilarious Todd Solondz film you might want to try. I still haven't seen welcome to the Dollhouse which is meant to be his best. -

I've never had a bad wank tbh It's just the self loathing that used to follow that I never liked. -

Not even joking. 157958 Haha no seriously, I thought it was complete gash. Mind I'm sure I'm in the minority as I don't think I've ever seen a "classic" film that I actually liked. 157962 Not even Goonies? -

Vertigo Found myself a bit annoyed toward the end when it seemed there wasn't a single character to like in the whole thing, but it's the first time I've seen it and I know I've missed loads. It's obviously not a straightforward thriller, although the suspense is occassionally high, you could see the ending a mile off. Seems to be more about fear of falling in love than fear of falling from a height. I imagine that having conquered his fear in the end he'll go back and marry midge, he just needed a few small steps to practice on first. Looking foward to watching the docs and listening to the commentary. Great, but not the best film I saw today. The Rules of Attraction Mildly entertaining. Lots of guff with backward scenes and starting at the end to try and give the impression it was cleverer than it was. It wasn't. I always loved the Streets song Empty Cans and it reminded me of that. Glengarry Glen Ross Fucking awesome. Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin are frickin amazing. Ed Harris Alan Arkin and Kevin Spacey are only brilliant. Put me in mind of 12 Angry Men, in that there's hardly anything to it. Just a few blokes trying to top a salesman chart. But the drama, the performances, the humour. It's all tip top. All 3 are £2.99 at HMV, I have to recommend the first and last. -

155752 I've read 'Tales of the City', canny good if a tad 'lavender'. Then again, I like Corrie. 155760 I picked it up from Oxfam in Hamburg ages ago and it's been gathering dust on my shelf ever since. Meanwhile I've been happily devouring books on Scrabble and Northumbrian history. Am I a crap gay? 155787 Don't worry about that. What with your Eurovision Song Contest fixation. I think you're possibly the most sterotypical gay there's ever been.

Tony Takitani - Tony is lonely so he gets married. His wife likes to shop. He doesn't appreciate it. He's left lonely. NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS! Very slow indeed. I enjoyed it. -
Cheers everyone. especially Jimbo. Used a couple of them jokes. Went down a treat. Got the best line off me mother - "tell her a man is like a tiled floor, lay him right the first time and you can walk all over him for years!"

When I was little I asked my mam to knit me a black and white scarf. She made me do it instead. Still have the tattered garment falling to bits somewhere. It's about a foot long. I must've strangled myself trying to wear it.

I would never shoot anyone. I don't know if he's the greatest, but he's certainly my favourite.
