You were defending him as a fullback though weren't you?

I wouldn't mind so much if he just went like for like and hoyed Perch in there like at Arsenal. It just seemed to be a total hodge podge though. Move Guti LB, move Cabaye LW, move Perch into the middle....and we didn't seem to maintain any shape. What I liked about Pardew early in the season was his rigid system where he seemed to have a position decided for every player and they were only fighting one or two others to take up that position. As the season goes on it's difficult to maintain that disciplined approach, but to mix it all up so much out of choice seemed strange, especially after we defended so well as a team and kept our shape against arsenal....for 94 minutes.

Drive I loved the Pusher trilogy, so had high hopes for this when I realised it was the same director. I wasn't as impressed as I anticipated though. It was a good watch but I'm not one for the eighties so the Miami Vice stylings of it put me off a bit. The soundtrack is lush, but the sub-Herzog drawn out shots of him going about his business and the California skyline that accompanied it annoyed me despite how pretty they were. Kill List Don't want to say too much about it because I never knew much and the places it goes were a total head-fuck. Two ex-army fellas have become hitmen and after a botched job in Kiev haven't done any work in 8 months. In need of money to support his demanding wife one of them is persuaded by the other to take on a list of hits. As he works through them he starts getting less professional and more bloodthirsty....and then it goes fucking mental. Get hold of it, something different to the usual bollocks.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B005GJTNRG%3FSubscriptionId%3D035HRQETZS3GCGBJ3F82%26tag%3Dfindhotelinth-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953 -
Think I read in the bumph that they'd replace it once through the season if it was misplaced, and charge after that...but that's just a vague recollection and might have been a few years back and since changed. Best ring the box office than ask on here.

No mention in this thread of the poor grammar for the Muamba applause? Cringe.

As was RTaylor. Paddocklad has it right.

The Santon thing has the whiff of the Nzogbia/Enrique situation which infuriated me. After playing the full game for 7 on the bounce and looking like a settled choice Santon's been dragged off at half time 2 in a row, and now dropped in favour of a square peg.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

Whoever came up with that was daft when yaya perch was a class apart. if its a new tactical preference in which Jonas and the team shine then we'll see it continue.- 10610 replies

How? Stanton was available to play lb. Which would have left gutI free to play the left wing without a total rejig. Is that Harry Dean Stanton? I assume Santon was dropped due to form? I don't know though, you'd have to ask Pardew.....as I said I was just going on what he said at post match interview, which was that 8 injuries forced the changes on him. So it was an unforced change based on form......due to injuries. Confusing.- 10610 replies

What a bunch of pretentious, pompous, supercilious, arrogant wankers you lot are, epitomised by Monsieur Given. Get over yerselves man! I defy anyone to say they heard that lineup today and thought that pardew had got it right. We had a team out there who had no clue where they were playing or what their role was. You can't complain about 3 points but it should have been more comfortable than that.- 10610 replies
