It has lasting effects though. 70 years ago it was the jews.....and look at the chip they've got on their shoulder nowadays.

Find that pretty shocking like. When the Westboro baptist church have one of their protests it's a few mentally unstable cultists spouting hate. This is a much bigger gathering of Fox propagandised hate filled people.....and it's the inncoent black man that gets moved on by the law when people satrt abusing him.

Andy Carroll had his big chance, and blew it.

Didn't a mod create a thread to dump Leazes and ASM jizz fests into?

Zack and Miri Make A Porno Really really shit. No laughs whatsoever. Kevin Smith gets exponentially worse with every film he makes. -

We've already got more than enough anyway so it's not even a consideration. yes it is. how many of our english players would you actually want to keep? i wouldn't mind losing a few. and how many would ideally make it into a squad of 25? in an ideal world we'll sign a few more players before the window shuts and then it could be an issue. not saying that will happen mind Don't have to be English to be 'homegrown' do they? In any case even if they did how would a short-term solution solve that given there isn't likely to be wholesale changes at present. Or in other words, you're talking bollocks again. i was under the impression that we were limited to 8 english players now. we currently have 11 senior english players and some kids. i wouldn't mind if we shifted half of them and if we did, we'd be short of the minimum requirement. No, that's not how the criteria works. We need to have 8 players who meet the criteria (this includes young players who've been here long enough / developed here so people like Fabregas count for Arsenal). To put it another way out of the squad of 25 you're therefore allowed 17 players who are 'foreign' under the criteria. We have nowhere near that many so, like I say, it's not even a consideration when it comes to signing Sol Campbell. Did we have more English players on the pitch than any other Premier league clubs the last 2 games? Harper, Perch, Williamson, Routledge, Nolan, Smith, Barton, Carroll, Ameobi, R Taylor = 10

and was as good as any other PL ref from what I saw Which game was it again? birmingham blackburn I think I thought that was a definite nowts each. Put the blackburn keeper and 2 defenders in my dream team, and a Birmingham defender too. Blackburn had one bastard shot on target and scored. ...and Foster's getting heaped with praise the bell-end... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ity/8936646.stm

Aye because part of the improvement is down to him working his bollocks off rather than strutting about. Delighted for him though, it was an awesome display imo. Going back to when he broke into the reserves I thought his greatest asset was his work rate, constantly moving off the ball and working the opposition defence hard. I thought comparisons to Shearer were warranted then because of the way he always seemed to beat the defender to head/chest balls that had come over the top with his back to goal and always retained posession for the team. He seemed to struggle with the step up in quality when he broke into the first team though. He looked good, but he never impressed me as much as he had in the reserves, never seemed as hungry and i was never as confident about him being our first choice striker in the top flight. I think he's taken it up a notch this last couple of games though, whether it's the number 9 shirt, being first choice even when all the strikers are fit, being in the Premier League, or something Hughton has said, it's great to see. -
Just a little more.... http://www.shure.co.uk/products/earphones/se535 Shure hasn't missed a single trick when it comes to the SE535s' sound quality. These are the best sound-isolating headphones we've ever heard, with only the SE530s able to compete in terms of raw clarity. http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/headphones/shure...eview-49306182/

There's a new Barclays advert in the gallowgate carpark. There's a newcastle badge and underneath it says "wear it with pride" My mate was going off it that the word "wear" was on an advert outside St James'.

And what about those who can't get to every match, Brains of Britain? Talking to a few lads after the match and nobody had a clue about the members or season ticket only change to level 7. Emptiest I've seen in there, congrats fatty, you've lost yourself a few grand there haven't you? Was going to pay on the day this year as I'll probably miss about five games this year due to my shifts. Found out about the membership scheme and just bit the bit the bullet and got the season ticket which was probably the clubs real intention in the first place. When you add the fact that they've only been taking half allocations for away games then you see the contempt these cunts hold us in. It was tongue in cheek like. I've slated them for this decision a few times on here. Apologies, mate. No problem. I should really try harder to actually be funny if I'm going to joke

Any reasons why? Is this just you trying to avoid being accused of being reactionary after yesterdays result or do you honestly think they're in a better place than us? I think if the spirit we seem to be taking into games continues we could very easily better them this season, we'd need to be lucky with injuries like, but at the same time, if Bent gets a bad injury they're fucked iyam They've spent £92.45m and recouped £37.5m = £55m outlay http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiershi...-transfers.html In the period we've spent £44.75m and recouped £66.15= £22m profit http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=28087 I wouldn't let 2 results sway you from what you thought a week ago. I thought we were better than them before the season started so don't gimme that! I'm pleased that you've drawn your conclusion based on financial outlay though, it'll be something to quote to both you, and Leazes, if we do finish about them I must have missed where you posted it before the season started. I've not drawn any conclusion. You asked why it would be amazing so I've shown you why. Sunderland have built a squad that should be capable of finishing mid-table wheras the majority of our team that started both games so far were players that couldn't avoid relegation 2 years ago. What the managers are able to get out of their squads is another matter, it would be amazing if Hughton were to get more out of our players than Bruce is able to get from his. I asked alex why he thought that though, not you I don't think would make it amazing. They've wasted a lot of money and signed a lot of shite. Their players are being accused by fans of not being bothered, which as we found out is a dangerous thing. You're right that many of our players were part of our relegation squad, but it's common knowledge that the difficult characters and "mercenaries" fucked off when we went down. We're a completely different proposition this season. Also worth a mention is the fact that they were shite last year and are in profit so far this window. They haven't strengthened at all from last season. You can quote figures to support an argument but they're easily manipulated by shortening or indeed lengthening the timeframe from which you quote. It'd be an achievement to finish above them, but amazing is just a massive exaggeration. Whatever. Nowt to be gained from getting mouthy with any mackems just yet either way. -

There's no cash turnstiles on level 7. for the rest of the season? are there any pay on the gate options now? yes and no. Encourages too many part timers to give it a miss if it's raining.

Very likely when you look at our squad. Yesterdays team played well. Few of them will manage 30+ games though unfortunately.
