1. Dntel-Loneliness Is Having No One To Miss
2. for the leg men amongst us best arse in the thread?
3. A friend of a friend used to go out with Miss Tweedy a few years ago and he has informed us that she is quite partial to what The Sun would describe as an unnatural sex act.. allegedly
4. Sony reckon they are going for a 10 year life cycle , again hinting that the machine will be on the expensive side. Also I see MS having a real chance of it so they wont be eager to rush out their follow up like this time. Nintendo unfortuantely seem to have taken themselves out of the mainstream running so I just dont see them as competiton to MS and Sony from now on.
5. cos the ps3 isnt a handheld, infact its the size of a small car
6. I'd definitely hold off the PSP mate, tbh I just use mine to play movies on. Ive had it since April and the only games Ive been impressed with are Ridge Racer and Lumines. Been a lot more impressed with the DS. I'll be getting one. Was going to hold off and wait for the first price drop but with all the recent announcements, RE5 and Ridge Racer 6 on LIVE. I think I'll get one at launch. I would be surprised if it was less than £250. Kutaragi has been making some very strange comments about the PS3 recently, how its not aimed at the household and its not a gams machine, make it sound like its going to be very expensive. Plus it looks like a bread bin
7. as good as the pic looks you should check out the trailer, looks superb. http://gametrailers.com/player.php?id=5130&type=mov
8. All the best fella say goodbye to your sex life
9. straight edge says Youth of Today to me more than anything. As obscure as Minor threat might be to some fair credit for Rites of Spring. What about Egghunt? Seeing the Cali connection , ever listen to Chain of Strength or Inside Out? 3767 Egghunt? Now that brings back memories. I am 34 (yeah I know old) so Egghunt came out when I was about 17 - fucking class. Youth of Today is a good shout. Chain of Strength and Inside Out sound familiar but I have not really listened to much of that recently and can't place them. Are they part of that whole OC Hard Core phenom? As much as I appreciate local talent there were some truly aweful straight edge bands from Southern California in the late 80s / early 90s. And I should add I never lived in Orange County where most of those bands came from. I was mroe into bands that came from LA and the East Bay (Oakland/Berkeley/Lookout Records stuff). Also for full disclosue I was never straight edge - I went to a lot of punk shows growing up here in California and liked a broader range of hard core ... I also saw no point in giving up beer just so I could get all righteous at Fugazi concerts. I did stop doing drugs about the time I was 19 and never smoked, but I figured with the beer and sex I would never make it to full membership. 4228 they were both out late 80's early 90's. To me Chain of Strength were the top so cal HC band, pretty much everything else I listened to either came from New york from Revelation records or DC with Dischord. Inside Out only did one EP I think but it was Zach de la Rocha's band before Rage against the Machine. No spiritual surrender by Inside Out is an awesome tune. I was well into the SE scene but never SE myself I just loved the passion and the movement. It was fun to piss off the pretentious SE kids at local shows though by having a beer and smoking tabs, Im big enough that no one is going to have a go at me . Glad to see another Fugazi fan on the board (everyone else is now thinking who?). The SE scene wasnt as big over here and Fugazi's following isnt SE at all. Fugazi at the riverside in Newcastle in 92 (i think) is still the best gig I've ever been to.
10. Ive had a borderline obsession with Naomi since watching Mulholland Drive mmmm
11. Quality. Had loads of them but did you actually do it properly? I always attempted it but then gave up turn to page 32 to go through the right door turn to page 128 to go through the left door *turns to page 128* A large spike impales you through the face you are dead "Fuck!!" *turns to page 32*
12. Money and American Psycho are my most read books. Probably says a lot more about me than anything else. Theres a great book I read years ago but I cant remember the name. It was about the rise of the Fifth (?) Reich. The story was the Nazis realise they were going to lose the war and sent off couples across the globe to make sure that their offspring would fulfill the nazi plan years later. In the novel a journalist uncovers it all as there is a conspiracy to assinate the president(?). I'd love to read it again if anyone can tell me the name of it
