1. wtf? tbh I feel Ive just wasted 15 mins seeing how this thread has jumped from 2 pages to 10 since I last looked. From what I can gather it seems to be a mix of homoerotic humour and bitching or are they the same thing?
2. he has played well in that position against shite opposition who will never test the part of the role that he's unsuitable for. The decision to go with 3 central midfielders is purely to accomodate Beckhams ego. He wants to be a CM, he always has but he's not good enough. He cant dislodge either Gerrard or Lampard from that position on merit so we have the decision to go with three which is obviously to the detriment of other areas of the team. It'll take a new manager to come in and have the balls to drop certain players if we are to achieve anyhting at the next world cup. Wont happen though. Sven wont resign from his 4 mill a year cushy number and the FA cant afford to sack him.
3. Because Becham doesnt want to play RM. He's never wanted to play RM. Being made England captain and having a manger with no backbone has given him the power to do what he wants as far as England goes. His personl performance are for the most part good but its always detrimental to the overall set up of the team. Everytime he had ideas above his station at Man U Fergie dropped him.
4. if its a toss up between that and advance wars get advance wars but I'd recommend getting both
5. aye I really like Amber too, I prefer either one at different times/moods. Incunabula at the minute as its more 'musical' if you know what I mean. I didnt like Tri Repetae that much and tbh havent really bothered with them since then. I might have to hunt down their newer stuff seeing as they've made a bit of a comeback.
6. I got it for the err missus. Its really good, the dog does react to the things you do and say. Its very realistic. I suppose in its most basic form it is just Tamagotchi but it really is so much more. Its really addictive and one of the best handheld games Ive played. Dont knock it till you've tried it.
7. Charlatans - weirdo Stone Roses - Mersey Paradise Autechre - Lowride Richard Ashcroft - Brave New world Dj Shadow - Scatter Brain Dj Krush -Duality I can hear the opening few notes to most of those and it brings an instant smile to my face. The Richard Ashcroft one is a sad one. Ive been listening to a lot of Autechre again recently, thats a more of a sit down ,close your eyes and chill one.
8. where bouts is that at mate? 29348 on the corner of Thornton St and Stoffold St. If you walk over York Road from the Yorkshire bank and keep on going for a bit you'll go past a fishmongers and then there it is on the corner. Saying that I hope its still there its been a few years since I've had one.

11. Does that also let you rip a DVD on to your PC into the right format or would i need someone else to allow me to rip my DVDS on my PC first? 29082 you'd need something else, theres tutorials in the forum section iirc. It leads by the hand through it all so its really easy Got virtua tennis yesterday. Its as good as I hoped it would be. 14. true true ..but still .. the coral its actually a credit to you that it took me to go to the bottom of your list to find a band I felt comfortable taking the piss about
15. watched Land of the Dead this weekend. Typical Romero zombie flick. If you liked his others you'll love this. Nice progression on from Day of the Dead and at least the zombies dont run. Great/gruesome effects
16. 45 mins to go... worst thing about working where I do is watching all the civil servants wander off at 3.. bastards!
17. UMD's are just Sony doing what Sony does. They have to try and bring out their own format for everything, they cant just use the standard. Wankers. Movie conversion is a piece of piss once you have a play with the software. What I cant believe is that people have actually bought programmes to do this , one is no. 3 top seller on play, when there's better ones available for free. www.pspvideo9.com is all you need, the software even supports AVC which is one of the main reasons for upgrading to v2 of the firmware khay, take your Untold Legends back and trade it for Ridge Racers, tbh I'd take NBA street back too. Hot shots golf is a lot better than tiger woods, unless you really want to play as tiger..
18. so solano misses an important game because his flight is delayed or he's just fked from travelling. Are you telling me you wouldn't be disappointed? Im not saying he shouldn't play for his country but its perfectly natural (and in no way xenophobic) to be a bit fked off with it when it causes him to miss games for us. Its different for player from european counties because their internationals are scheduled into the league program for minimum impact. It isnt a foreign v English issue to me.
19. slightly different though. Owen doesnt have to travel half way around the world to play for his country. Which lets face it those who pay his wages (us) couldnt give a gnats chuff about. I dont think its xenophobic its just realistic. On top of that theres always the point that he did go back on his word once after securing a better contract. England matches have minimal impact on English league games. Its not the same for South American or African ones. Im sure if English players where playing in Peru or Brazil the fans of those clubs would be miffed to see the player being ruled out of league games not because of injury but because of travel.
20. nowt to do with age Im over 30. Straight edge is a youth movement that was born out the U.S hardcore (punk not dance) scene in the 80's. While not ahering to the beliefs myself I loved the music and the scene for its passion and its political and social message. Zach de la Rocha , the lead singer from Rage against the Machine, started out in SE band called Inside Out. google is your friend.. Straight-edge refers to a philosophy that's most basic tenets promote a drug free lifestyle. It developed as an offshoot of the punk rock/hardcore scenes of the early 1980's when the term itself is believed to have been coined by Ian Mackaye, in the self titled song, while he was the singer of the seminal hardcore band, Minor Threat. Mackaye eschewed the nihilistic tendencies of punk rock, promoting instead the simple (almost simplistic) philosophy of "don't drink/ don't smoke/ don't fuck." In the 12 years since the demise of Minor Threat, these simple beliefs have transformed the minds of scores of teens worldwide. Increasingly disenchanted with societal ills, young men and women adopt the straight-edge doctrine as a blueprint to better first themselves, and then the world in which they live. While the original definition of straight-edge only included the rejection of mind altering substances and promiscuous sex, modern interpretations include a vegetarian (or vegan) diet and an increasing involvement and awareness of environmental and political issues. As noted, straight-edge grew out of the punk rock/hardcore scene and so music plays an important role. The Teen Idles, an early 80's Washington, DC hardcore band, and something of a precursor to Minor Threat, can arguably be called the first straight-edge band. Since that time there have been hundreds if not thousands of bands who've so labeled themselves. Early bands included Minor Threat, SSD and Uniform Choice. In the mid to late 80's, straight-edge hardcore reached a zenith, especially in the greater Metropolitan area of New York City. This atmosphere led to the creation of Gorilla Biscuits, Bold, Wide Awake and arguably the most prolific band of the era, Youth of Today. While the bands of this period did much to popularize straight-edge, they also contributed to its closeminded and antagonistic aspects. The attitude between straight-edge and the rest of the world often took on adversarial tones during this time, largely becoming "The positive youth crew versus people who drink, smoke and/or do drugs." Many people dislike straight-edge and its adherents because of such intolerant views. Straight-edge today, while nothing like the "halcyon" days "back in '88," still offers a viable and positive lifestyle. Bands such as Strife, Mouthpiece, Earth Crisis and Snapcase, continue to proliferate and bear the standard. While its detractors often claim that straight-edge(rs) are no more than suburbanite, cliquish, fashion victims, few can argue that the philosophy is still valid. The drug-free lifestyle has left its positive impact on more than one wayward youth. Perhaps the ideals and ideas are more pertinent today than ever as the focus begins to reach beyond affecting merely oneself to altering and improving one's society and environment.
