  1. Terry Mac as assistant again. Has Terry Mac ever had the manager's job at any club? I mean even just as a caretaker/interim boss.
  2. Well Sunderland is near Newcastle, and we have Tiote, Ba and Cisse. They should put that on their shirts too - 'Sunderland, Near Newcastle'
  3. It's 1600 isn't it? Why can't you just buy 800 twice?
  4. Can't be true tbh, nowhere near his stables. He'll be at Stoke next season for the above reason.
  5. Not a penny, unless I'm much mistaken. To be fair to them, that's a noble gesture. Similar thing to Villa's Acorn sponsorship deal a few years bacl and Barca's UNICEF deal.
  6. What in the fuck? http://twitter.com/#!/GuillemBalague
  7. That Twitter thing on the main forum pages needs a bit of an edit if you ask me. Seems to be all Paul Dalglish, Peter Ramage and Stephen Folan. Does anyone really care what they have to say? Basically make it Sammy Ameobi and Ryan Taylor only
  8. I'm really not sure Wilshere is as good as the hype suggested. Arsenal players tend to be overrated at times simply because they play for Arsenal.
  9. Thought you were going to be less of a WUM now?
  10. Some shocking stats there, and not all of them relating just to last night's game. I can't believe how big the gap looked between the two nations last night. Especially after England looked a bit more capable against France, albeit a French team that perhaps also disappointed overall.
  11. To be fair to them the warranty for that sort of issue was fairly long.
  12. Kaka? Priviliged from a Brazilian point of view at least.
  13. Agreed that the Spanish no striker formation thing is weird, though. Soldado isn't at the tournament, Negredo is. Soldado scored more last season. I'd have said it would have made sense to have taken 4 strikers with them but in hindsight it'd have been pointless. It's Llorente I expected to see play a lot this tournament. But if they can win the thing without him then who am I to judge.
  14. Not being funny but the football world rates Fabregas highly because of what he achieved at Arsenal, and you can't really say he only played well for them when they were 3 goals to the good. And he seems pretty down to earth to me for a big name player. not much of an ego and hardy cheats any more than most of his teammates. But hey if you think you know better than Barca who saw fit to spend major money on him a year ago then fair play to you Also Spain have far more experience thah a lot of the German team, and the Germans have only come up against one supposedly decent team (the Dutch) so far this tournament so I wouldn't go too overboard on the likelihood of them beating Spain should they meet in the final.
  15. if he was my player I'd rather he didn't try it. Simple as that. Too risky.
  16. Why am I tempted to bet on Portugal winning it?
  17. Why is Pirlo getting praised for that cheeky chip? Looks great when it comes off but if Hart had got to it Pirlo would be laughed at. Yann Kermongant tried that for Leicester in a play-off semi a couple of years ago and never kicked a ball for them again.
  18. Cruel but not as cruel as it would have been on Italy had they lost.
  19. Passes completed: Eng 309 Ita 720 Possession: Eng 37% Ita 63% This woeful England side are going to do it aren't they
  20. Why him and not his inferior teammates?
  21. Italy are on another level tbh. If England get through this Germany won't have much to worry about, England's luck can't last that long.
  22. Constantly praising him? Be fair, it's usually criticism. He is a very good player with age on his side.
