  1. Why am I not an admin/mod yet? Only a matter of time, shirley.
  2. At least we'll have improved the clear weakness in the team (the defence) by next season. It's pleasing to see that almost all of the transfer speculation links us to defenders. Must be something in it.
  3. 3 matches account for almost half of that total Craig posted.
  4. Like I said in another thread though, the thing is that we're conceding lots of (away) goals in relatively few fixtures. As opposed to lots of goals spread out over plenty of games which would obviously be worse. So with that in mind, things aren't as bad as they appear perhaps. It's very strange though, if we lose it has to be an annihilation by the winning team. Arsenal may have only beaten us 2-1 but they annihilated us everywhere but on the scoresheet. West Brom is the only loss where we've actually been unlucky or whatever. That said we were more than in the game against Fulham up until half-time in the reverse fixture.
  5. Only one club off the top of my head has scored less than 3 goals and beaten us (Arsenal). And then I think West Brom are the only other side to beat us a single goal margin. You're right, when we lose, we really lose.
  6. Don't quite get this - we're still one of the most in form clubs, just had a (very) off day. Don't get me wrong, on paper I'd expect them to win (better players, at home etc). People have expected "absolute hidings" from a few teams this season, Spurs have been the only ones who delivered on that. Hardly thought we'd be getting thrashed by the likes of Fulham and Wigan especially after beating them both at SJP.
  7. What happened exactly? Kinda looks like she's growing out the ground. Safe to say I've seen far worse by the way. Thanks for the desensitisation, internet.
  8. You been watching his every move for the last 15 years?
  9. Isn't it a similar story with Sunderland and Bruce/O'Neill?
  10. Oh well, at least it wasn't £1200
  11. Rather Spurs continued to face uncertainty tbh. Bad for West Brom though - seem to be progressing nicely under Hodgson. Comfortable.
  12. Painfully ridiculous defeatist attitude after one bad loss.
  13. First game since 2004 that a side hasn't had a single shot of any description. Just bemusing. Did Blackburn plan for this match at all? Like NJS said, it's as if Blackburn wrote this game off before they kicked a ball. I reckon I've seen teams beaten heavily putting in a better performance than that.
  14. I looked at these 4 fixtures and thought the best we could hope for (in all likeliness) was 7 points - 2 wins and a draw. Figured we'd lose at least one of them but unfortunately I assumed that would have been against the easiest (on paper) opposition we'd face. Honestly though I now reckon we'll get 4 points from the remaining games.
  15. Don't recall it being as one-sided as you're trying to make out tbh. Was 1-0 and we had chances, until Taylor went off and they scored 2 in the dying minutes. Not like Ryan Taylor will be playing either way. They're in a good place at the moment, we've just had a strange loss but I don't think one game will kill the mentality of the players.
  16. Blackburn playing as if they have nothing to play for. A simply disgusting performance. Take a risk for once, they look like they're playing for a draw.
  17. That was a strangely normal post for you deadman. No 'cunterheads' or anything of the sort. Just a simple 'cock'.
  18. Cmon Blackburn, massive boost to us if Spurs drop points.
  19. He needs a goal is all. Hardly putting in bad performances. Nor is he the only decent striker in the Prem who has recently had a barren run. Van Persie's goal yesterday was his first in eight IIRC.
