I'd do unspeakable (but good) things to Pardew if we finished third. Last thing we want to do is finish fourth and either miss out on the CL because of Chelsea winning it this season, or by us repeating the Partizan debacle by failing at the qualifier stage.

Krul just turned 24. He's 2 months older than Aguero who made the list (well, both lists!).

The last one who did will be all over your papers in early July....that's the only information you're getting. You can't do that and not leave just a little clue.

Even the women are gay men.

Na, always leave the door open just a little. That's only for the ones who aren't actually leaving, they just fancy some attention.

I'm sure he felt better playing for Man City when were in the Championship. Selective memory? CabayeAye is a total dick, but only you could pull him up on this. Consider it one of my many talents.

If you're going to go out, I say go out in style. No "I hate you all I'm leaving" thread... I'm talking hardcore gay porn or something along those lines. Leave your mark, get yourself IP banned, have a legacy and be known as 'that guy'.

Or Sunderland, when Sess leaves for Barca.

Are you insinuating we should be doing even better than we are doing? -
No, I for one will judge each season on its own merits. If we sell players in the summer, don't adequately replace them and have a disappointing season then I'll absolutely criticise those concerned. I want to see an attempt at progression. Even if things don't work out, I want to feel that the club at least tried. We could spend big money on big name players and all would be rosy during the window but for all we know they might not do well.

If. Don't get me wrong, I know they'll sell if it makes sense for all parties. In fact Pardew reaffirmed that in a Mirror interview today. But let's just wait and see. -

Good point about the age of the lads. Think the average age is about 25.5/26? Colo is the only starter in his 30s, and after him it's only really Shola who is out of his 20s. -
Just read that Di Canio took his seat in the Swindon dugout yesterday only hours after learning his mother had died. Was in tears, but was determined to do his job. They got 3 points and have all but secured promotion.

You're only saying that because you're not exactly Mr Popular on here either, let's be fair. -
Carroll`s career so far in Liverpool

Oh sweet Jesus. Not that argument again. It doesn't matter where they got the money from, it's still been wasted! If you give me £50 and I spend it on alcopops instead of investing it in some high quality liquor, it's a waste of my money is it not? That a large portion of the £115m Dalglish has spent was recouped from Torres does not matter really - imagine what we could have done with £50m. Like it or not, league positions are what it comes down to at the end of the day. The cups are not a true indication of the quality of a club. I mean Cardiff made the semi of this year's league cup and now-Championship Birmingham won it last year. Liverpool's season has been a massive failure, saved by their cup form. -

Look at the state of those websites and then tell me if you're still worried. You don't even have to know any Spanish. -

That's just how it is. It's mere circumstance. You'll get clubs in their situations every season and it's up to your club to take advantage. If you're talking about incidents in games, for every lucky moment I could find you an unlucky/unfair one. I don't think we're any more lucky than any other club in that respect. To call us lucky and to put it down partly to "pure coincidence" does the players and staff a disservice. Tbh it makes you sound like you're looking for an angle with which to complain, as if you have to be cynical. -

Yup. We absolutely have a squad I find it easier to get behind (I say squad - I'll always be 100% behind the club) nowadays. To a man they just seem more on the right level; not saying the big names of the past were bad people, but I don't think they were together as the lads are now, nor do I think they were all totally in it for the right reasons. They all seem approachable, down to earth men. No big egos, no dodgy attitudes, no silly salaries. They've all bought into the club, whether firstly through Hughton or via Pardew alone. We've had the odd player such as Barton and Ranger who's been controversial, so we've still had the odd embarrassment. But the club have gone about those players in the right way - look at where they are now. If you want to compare us now to previous eras - just read the papers, visit football blogs, listen to people in the game etc. We're an admired club now. People like us. They like our ethos, our policies (for the most part), our abilities, our attitudes, our players, our support. The amount of positive press as of late has been overwhelming to see, as an NUFC fan. We've a club for which few neutrals want us to do badly.
