  1. Swansea remind a little of FIFA/Pro Evo players who just pass it around their defence/midfield for half the match, trying to frustrate you. I like that FourFourTwo stats app image that's being passed around - loads of passing in the middle of the park but hardly any differencec between possession in the penalty areas. Will they be a force to be reckoned with when they've improved on the Graham/Lita/Moore strikeforce they currently have? Maybe. Teams have figured them out, and I think they get a bit more credit than they truly deserve. The Barca comparisons are not fair - Barca are (naturally) far more incisive. Swansea just pass it around a lot, trying to tire teams down, then scoring late on when the other team is out of energy after chasing shadows all match.
  2. Wonder if any SAFC fans want their side to lose today just to keep Spurs 5 points above us.
  3. Oh come on... you're very weird about ex-Reading staff. Bitter they left?
  4. Our injuries will be countered by their solitary day off between matches. Should be a good one, but as rightly said above, likely not straightforward.
  5. Interesting to see if Pardew can get Ba scoring as well as this guy. At the moment Pardew won't do anything to obstruct Cisse, and Ba has and will continue to have to make sacrifices. Like Rob Lee said, it's when Cisse stops scoring that we'll be tested if Ba remains in his current position (out wide). At the moment I don't care as long as at least one of them is scoring.
  6. Comparing this game to the fixture at SJP is quite interesting. In that game it was us who dominated possession, and certainly came a lot closer to scoring than Swansea did today. We had loads of shots compared to 2 or 3 from them, hit the woodwork a couple of times and couldn't really have done much more. On that day it just wasn't to be, no matter how many shots we had. Today we had hardly any shots and scored from 2 of our on target ones. We came to the Liberty today knowing what to expect - a lot of possession against us. We soaked that up and honestly, I never felt really uncomfortable at any point. Krul was only troubled once or twice, and the defence was solid. We never looked tired - it felt to me like we invited the pressure, conserved our energy levels, dealt with them in the final third and hit them on the break. The timing of the goals probably allowed for this - had they been at different times or not at all I imagine we'd have played a different game, perhaps a more offensive, open one that they might have been able to exploit.
  7. Shouldn't be a dark horse at all, on current form Blanc would be mad not to take him.
  8. We hardly struggled when we played them at SJP. Some people just can't help but be pessimistic it seems.
  9. Wasn't it more criticism than abuse?
  10. Gutted for Haris if he misses these two games, I imagine he had a good chance of featuring in them.
  11. Likely to play again this season, anyone know? PhysioRoom has him down as returning to action on Saturday.
  12. Looks like my Cardiff question has gone down a treat.
  13. Very clever. It was this (didn't realise I couldn't hotlink from Twitter images)
  14. Anyone found a bigger version of this? Love this shot, couple of good ones from the match actually.

  16. .co.uk had a competition recently and the prize was an interview with a player of the winner's choice. Some blonde won it and chose Taylor who is absolutely loving the attention in the video they've put up. He's sitting there, puffing his chest out, trying to look cool as you like

  18. Ask them if they'd like Cardiff to be in the Prem as well.
  19. Is that not just because you hate Liverpool so much and enjoyed watching them get outclassed?
