Speechless. Really gutted but I can't imagine how his family are feeling right now. I don't think Given was crying though, Sky said something about it being a misplaced contact lens.

Indeed. Shows he cares. Can understand why he got booked though. Not sure how Rooney got away with it.

You do realise how interviews work, right? Can almost guarantee that Douglas asked him "Is it possible that one of our top players could be sold in the January window?". I'd rather Pardew was honest as opposed to making assurances that no-one will leave, like he did with Carroll. That backfired on him and now he's learned from his mistake:

He'll be gone by the year's end. -
Might be better off putting Taylor at LM?

Not heard Man Utd fans say much about this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et8ZNP2Pp1U&feature=player_embedded

He's definitely a problem player especially against the best sides, as his defiencies force Gutierrez to be far more defensive than we'd like him to be. Definitely something Pardew needs to look into, and it sounds like Santon is competing with Simpson so we're low on other options. I'd obviously like to see Ferguson, Tavernier and Kadar given a chance at some point. Like said earlier in this thread though, suddenly dropping Taylor wouldn't be right.

Bad idea feeding his ego.

Given how often these things go the other way and nothing is said, it makes me cringe to see how much Man Utd fans (and their manager) are moaning about the penalty decision.

Yup. A win, draw, and a loss from the 'big 3' games would be more than I had hoped for. More importantly, it won't see us drop significantly down the table. Whoa there cowboy, lets beat chelsea at home before talking about wins there shall we Erm, what? Beating Chelsea is by no means a given. And nowhere in that post did I say it was a given, unless you chose to misread it that way. Getting 4 points from the 3 games (aka a win, a draw and a loss) would more than satisfy me. Quite a simple point really.

What?

He's not settled in yet nor is he used to the tempo of the league in a team playing with bad tactics for the personnel it has at its disposal. Having a cunt of a man like Terry next to him wouldn't help at all either to find his feet. All that makes him look bad. Coloccini took a while to come good if you recall. Having said all that though I'm not sure he's worth double that of Coloccinni. But his mistakes are obvious ones that you can't really put down to not settling in.

Pardew always holds his hands up when we've had a bit of luck. He almost always tells it like it is. Has Ferguson ever admitted to Man Utd ever having any luck?

Wigan scored in the 93rd minute to beat Sunderland at the SoL. Worrying result tbh, need Agent Bruce to stay there.
-
I'll take that. I'd have been happy with 2 points from these 3 games. Now we can go back to SJP and possibly take that total up to 4.

He's more defensive.

Fuck's sake Jonas

Tactical sub tbh.
