He's on the dating scene.

Chode?
-
Hardly useless though is he.

There's some weight behind this rumour after all? What would be the point in selling him? We need MORE strikers, not just replacements for ones we've moved on. He did well when he had a chance. why sell him? I'd rather have too many players than not enough.

Two deals "as good as done" - One "surprising exit".

Exactly. The Chronicle as well, they love a bit of spin. I still pay more attention to them as they've got better links to the club. -

Now now you were caught out with this last time you doubted something I posted from the sun and it was true. (Not too mention you posted stories from their Sunday version, the NOTW. I didn't post NotW articles. Your accusation offends me so I just checked my post history and you must be referring to this... -

Are you serious? The Sun, The Mirror, The Mail etc - they genuinely know fuck all and the proof is right in front of you on a daily basis. Not a fan of the Journal/Sunday Sun etc but they've got a better success ratio than the aforementioned, unsurprisingly. -

You surely know better than to pay any attention to a 4 line Sun article, anonymously written with no quotes. Not sure why CT bothered linking it in the first place. They don't deserve the extra hits. -

Best isn't a youth player. And The Sun know next to nothing about anything football-related. -

You wouldn't catch me dead wearing that lot. -
Heh.

Fixed your post.

POTY for its utter stupidity. Don't care if he's being a WUM or not.
-
Ba and Taylor? FYI, he's on the wind-up.
-
Champions League aspirations eh? So he wouldn't be joining Liverpool after all?
-
If our lot haven't made Ba signing for us part of the Nolan deal then they want shooting.

This thread is now your personal forum.

And you're OK with this? I'm going to report your post for that word you've used there on the end of your post. I am ok with it yes. I'l tell you why...Because its what needs to happen for us to build and be stronger for it in time. To stop us getting into the same mess we were left in by the last board. Its not like we are selling and then buying in shit...Cabaye shows that. We will remain competitive but will also look to trim the wage bill further...maximise profit on sales and making us a stronger more viable option for a prospective buyer. In the meantime it puts us in good stead for the new financial rulings which are coming into place shortly. You are having a laugh or winding people up surely? I agree about the intention to maximise profit on sales, thats his intention for sure. Do you think if Cabaye turns out to be any good that he will still be here in 2 years time? He will be sold on to maximise profit The hieght of Ashleys ambition is to keep us in the Premier League year on year, mid table mediocrity if we are lucky, whilst spending as little as possible. No ambition whatsover. This. Anyone making light of this situation is deluded. Am I right in thinking that we'll actually make a loss after selling him?

Can't wait to hear Pardew's excuses. I'd respect him for quitting over things like this. Don't believe for a minute that this wasn't a decision made entirely by the regime.

I wouldn't take the stuff that man comes out with as gospel if I were you.

I really don't get this type of comment. Is there a magical biological element in footballers that makes them suddenly become a poorer player the moment they enter their 30s? Why couldn't he have carried on till he was say 32? Do you see the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea wanting rid of their star men - captains, top scorers some of them - because they've supposedly had their peak years during their late 20s and suddenly aren't as good? Nolan isn't a pacey player. He's intelligent on the ball and a great leader off it. There is nothing to suggest any of his attributes would be severely weakened in years to come.
-
Is he really going for £1.5m?
-
Why can't people just ignore Leazes?
-
Got to love getting rid of the players who stuck by the club when we went down, got us promoted and then did a good job last season. Genius idea really. Reward them with a move to a better club - like, er, West Ham, in a lower league.
-
Probably end up leaving our contract with them and getting SportsDirect.com logos on the shirt instead.
