I'd like him to instill a bit more willingness to play it safe when in front with the game almost up. I'd like him to make sure our lot run down the clock and don't give possession away in injury time. Simple stuff realy.

Why are we so incapable of simply running down the clock? It's not like we needed to push for a goal. Sunderland equalising last weekend I put down to just being one of those days, a lapse in concentration. It happens. But to do it again in the next match is just unforgivable. I still can't fathom why we weren't doing the usual running to the corner flag and simply holding on to it. It doesn't make sense.

Good point. Routledge would put a bit more pressure on their defence and would have probably kept the ball away from our goal better too. Perch was pretty much an extra defender when he came on. It was losing possession higher up the pitch which cost us.

Bent has only gone and scored on his debut.

Even more so if Carroll was playing. Like I said a second goal was desperately needed in both matches and twice now it's come back to haunt us. I was worried the moment I heard there would be 4 added minutes. 4 points is massive and could be the difference between us staying up and getting relegated. You still think we're in danger of going down? regardless of points, I think the performances show we're good enough to stay up. 8 points between us and 18th. 9 between us and the bottom. A dodgy run on our part and that gap will get closed. Which makes dropping points like this when we're playing well even harder to comprehend. This should have been a fourth win in a row. On 34 points I'd feel comfortable. This is a good run of form - it won't last. We're wasting opportunities. Either way I've always said that I'll take survival any way we can get it. If it's a case of hoping for the best on the last day then I'd take that. Disappointments like this will soon be forgotten on my part the moment our survival is confirmed. 7 points from 6th with a game in hand and key players coming back very soon. Carroll, Barfa and Tiote. Get a grip! I hate pessimistic fucks like you. I'm not being pessimistic. I'm being realistic - you can never be sure with this club. There's still a long way to go. If things are like this in March or April then I'd probably be as sure as you that we'll be alright. For the record I personally believe we'll stay up and finish mid-table. I'm just not going to be totally comfortable till survival is mathematically confirmed. 8 points isn't a huge amount.

Exactly. I can't believe we were giving the ball away so cheaply in injury time.

Grow up. We had plenty of chances. Why don't you have a go at Ameobi?

Oh give him a break, inches past the post and if Lovenkrands was sharper he'd have tapped it in.
-
And yes for once Kevin is right, we need a better striker because that's twice now where a second goal would have ensured 3 points.
-
I'm livid. That's 2 wins thrown away in injury time in the space of a week. Unbelievable.
-
I've fucking had enough of this. 2 wins thrown away in injury time.

OH COLOCCINI I'D LET YOU SHAG MY WIFE

Sunderland 2 up. With the way things are going they'll somehow be 7 points clear.

Jesus wept.

I know full well not to bother with what the multitude of Spurs ITKs come out with, but just in case anyone is interested. http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/forums/sho...ead.php?t=69570 So gash that he's got 11 goals in a very ordinary team. Really informed comment there.

Why is Xisco still at the club?

Hoping for a draw here. Liverplol level with us on points as things stand, with more games played.
-
It's basically more of the same, just better. And with MP on top. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU
-
They spent money on that.

You were confident about us playing Man Utd at Old Trafford in our first match back?

In a way I admire Barton's honesty and determination to put things things right after we stuck by him when many clubs wouldn't have. He owed the club and the fans in particular such a lot and I appreciate how he is well aware of this.
