  1. End of an era. Can't say I'm sad though. The leaker has got what he wanted, unfairly one might say.
  2. Parky, considered passing a link to this very thread on to Maria? That'll sort her out good and proper.
  3. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Chris Kamara is the man.
  4. Looking forward to the inevitable last minute inadequate panic buy. Been a pretty dreadful window so far, all things considered. In that we've added no-one but let a couple go. At least if we do get one or two in, they'll have some time to adjust to the club before our next match. Part of me can't believe that it's almost the end of January and we've not still not brought anyone in, the other part of me expects something to happen on deadline day.
  5. I'm not sure publishing this photo was a good idea. Now a lot of the players will have one eye on her during the match.
  6. Latest bit of ITK is that they post on this very forum.
  7. Meanwhile, I bet Sports Direct staff work for the minimum wage.
  8. Should have put this up earlier. Only just realised they've added it to the article. The recording - http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/01_04/sky.mp3
  9. Not sure why they were recording anything in the first place. You back on the dole now toughguy?
  10. West Brom are in the kind of form I'm worried about us encountering. They haven't won a single game since they beat us 3-1. Blackburn are actually ahead of us as things stand, albeit with a game more played.
  11. I ignore the Stevenage game. Just concentrate on the league.
  12. If I had that much money I'd invest most of it and/or put it into the bank so I could live off the interest. Surprises me to hear of a few lottery winners spending it all in the space of a few years.
  13. Hopefully this new goalkeeping coach would actually help him work on such mistakes.
  14. What's wrong with the 6 page Ireland thread?
  15. He'd have had 5 wins out of 7 were it not for injury time goals. He's not doing too bad, all things considered. Bit tired of people giving Hughton all the credit. I half expected things to go drastically wrong (and after Man City and Spurs away I thought that was coming), so he's done better than expected for sure.
  16. I'd still quite like us to pursue O'Hara. Can't be on high wages and wants out.
  17. I really hope that Pardew isn't satisfied with bringing in just the one midfielder. We still need another striker, for example.
  18. YOU BEAUTYYYYYYYYY I still have nightmares to this day about that.
  19. What should happen is this. Carroll, Tiote come back. Gosling and, hopefully soon, Ben Arfa return from injury and quickly get back into things. Having 3 of those 4 would make our squad immensely stronger, and Gosling has potential and a lot to prove. Those 4 PLUS a couple of new signings (winger and striker) and we could do well this season. We really need Carroll's goals, Tiote's ball retention and Ben Arfa's ability to scare defenders. They're all top class international players in their early 20s. The club should be built around them.
  20. Why do you usually fail to provide a source? This doesn't mean a thing if it's another People article. Jus' sayin', CT.
  21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13...rren-Brady.html In a dream scenario this would lead to Gray getting the sack.
  22. Yup. I still can't get my head around what they were thinking. We seemed determined to get a second goal when we'd have been better off just defending the one goal we did have. A night's sleep hasn't made me feel any less disappointed. 2 matches in a row is just not on and Pardew should be blaming all of them, and if he had any courage he'd try and put a bit of pressure on the large man to actually improve this severely lacking squad of ours.
