  1. Tell that to the Greeks. I guess you don't mean that we have literally zero hope? Still, play to win. If you have to take a couple of work experience boys, take them along for the ride but don't select them over better options.

Still has the cash for competent representation then.
  3. I'm really not happy with his preference for selecting players with possible potential over experienced internationals plus other currently better players. Shaw over Cole is the elephant in the squad, but I don't see why Stones or Flanagan make the reserve list. The later was schooled by Debuchy and Sissoko on the last day and made a hasty retreat to the bench at half time. You pick your strongest players and go to win. You do not select a bunch of youngsters and go to provide them with experience. Otherwise, it seems like a stronger 23 compared to the guys who failed in South Africa 4 years ago.
  4. England U17s hammered the Turkish U17s this morning. Woodman made a penalty save and Adam Armstrong bagged his second goal of the tournament. Fulham's Pat Roberts has ran the show for us, he is the next big thing.
  5. Could do with someone having filmed and uploaded one of the several anti-Pardew songs.
  6. @MsiDouglas "We could have been really harmed in that second half but I think we've come out, on a football basis, with our dignity intact" AP Exactly, a fucking loser.
  7. Alan, considering you mustered two shots on target all night, one a speculative 30 yard swinger that was comfortably caught and the other less than a half chance, again saved with comfort, would you say that all that work you've done in the week trying to improve the team's fret didn't work as planned, or would you place more emphasis on the poor tactical set-up, whereby you instructed the players to play a short, slow paced, passing strategy, which negated your selection of 3 quick, direct players who could have benefited from playing on the counter?
  8. Can he pass a ball more than 5 yards without falling over? He is better than Dan fucking Gosling if he can. Now, in all seriousness Darren Ambrose mustered 6 goals in 11 games in the Greek Superleague this season and I wouldn't consider him a Premier League standard player. Have you seen much of Ambrose? How highly would you rate him? How does he compare to Abeid? Would you say that you've over-rated the quality of your league?
  9. Yeah, by as many goals as possible. So disillusioned with everything, from Neville treating us as a circus crowd to Pardew treating us as Leyton Orient. Pardew needs to go and a manager with the balls to stand up and demand success and not settle for the utter dross we serve up on a weekly basis.
  10. And Neville just undid all his hard work rolling out the tired old cliches about our support. NH we'd rather not lose 3-0 or 7-3, we'd rather win. No, we'd rather not have any "madness", we'd very much like a committed side, with a clear game plan capable of winning games and a manager who doesn't seek negativity, reduced expectations and who has no clue how to tweak a team mid game to improve our chances of winning.
  11. Sissoko was really poor in defence today. Plenty of times he strutted back lethargically. Ben Arfa would have recieved an absolute panning from Carver et al for that kind of a showing. Such a blatant inequality in their mindset. I am wallowing in the panning GNev and Carra are hurling at us. Glorious for our failings to get so much air time. Pardew was not be impressed.
  12. Top insights from Carragher. Williamson has cost us two goals with slack positioning and decision making. Pardew can't even depend on his British lads.
  13. I wish there was another 5 games we could get turned over in. There has to be a point at which Mike decides enough is enough and pulls the trigger.
  14. Trying to be serious about this, what I don't get is our insistence on retaining the ball when we get it. Loads of little passes instead of steaming up the pitch directly towards Remy and Sissoko who could power through.
  15. Made the bench ahead of Ben Arfa and Marveaux "on merit" so I see no reason why not.
  16. Sissoko cost us. Poor positioning in defence and so was forced to foul Giroud. Then he let KOS escape to score from the resultant free kick.
  17. Wenger pointing Pardew in the direction of his seat on the bench. Brilliant.
  18. Did he say that he wants us to fraternize Arsenal tonight? Or was I merely struggling to understand his pronunciation of the word fretten/threaten?
  19. Considering we should totally remove Ben Arfa and Marveaux from our thoughts for this game, and probably for ever, that's 1 player shy of the best 11 he could field to get us a result.
  20. #NUFC v @SwansOfficial (3-4-1-2): Krul; Coloccini, Williamson, Dummett; Anita, Gosling, Tiote, Gouffran; de Jong; Cisse, Sh Ameobi #NEWSWA
  21. Six hours since we last scored. Twelve goals conceded in that time.
  22. What utter garbage play from Shola. Simple pass on and he bundles it out of play.
