It's not a bad approach either, but realistically it'll only be sustainable long term with reasonable changeover in personnel. Younger managers would be better for it. On the other hand, we're not likely to ever get anywhere under this approach.

Is the transracial bit coming from that woman who was some form of black rights activist only to be exposed as being white? And is now claiming she's transracial and actually is black? I don't get what the fuss is about tbh, it's an entirely natural extension of the same lines of thought that came before it. As for SJWs in general, it's a massive topic I think they've done a lot of good, have overextended themselves in a bid to retain relevance, and are now damaging their own cause by othering people they should be uniting with. It's also a huge attraction in a general sense to virtue signalling politicians and other assorted fuckwits. Like church and religion back in the day.

Thatcherite as a term for describing general UK policies, no. Thatcherite in terms of its real name, Neoliberalism - yes. And I have more or less given up on it. Still pisses me off though. But, people are not prepared to step up to the challenge of bettering themselves at the end of the day.

Not about to debate nukes particularly except to say that as long as the US has them, we don't need them. See almost every country in Europe. On the broader point, we were transformed into an individualistic society by Thatcher. We know this. She came out and said it, in unity with Reagan who did the same in the US (albeit this was an easier sell for them). Quite why you think Thatcher's vision is now an unchallengable truth, I don't know. She broke socialism but replaced it with nothing of any actual value. Hence widespread discontent and the reality that people are less happy now than in any other time in recorded history.

To be fair, this is also true. Between the press and Corbyn refusing to play the game, it's hopeless. It would be less hopeless if people weren't idiots though.

Agree. Agree. Agree. I'd almost rather Charnley goes than Ashley. The only reason to choose Ashley ahead of him would be that the new owner would immediately fire Charnley anyway.
-
I'm sure this will come as a surprise to no one, but I agree with this. Only caveat being that of the two I'd still prefer Blair, even if all that does is offer the acceptable face of the same coin. That said, Renton is ultimately right. People don't vote for actual progress. I think this is because they're fucking stupid, he thinks it's because they're concerned about being nuked by Russia. Either way, the press dictates what is and is not acceptable to vote for, and a lack of critical thinking from people generally makes governance along the same basic trajectory very easy.

Have to agree there, no chance of him confirming anything until we're literally on the cusp of the new season. I think when the first transfer comes in though, we can assume things are looking good.

Whereas voting for the party that will actively work to make your life harder is the pinnacle of common sense. We aren't relevant enough for anyone to nuke these days ffs. On the other hand, we actually DO have falling standards of living.

I thought the consensus was that he wasn't successful after all? That if he's put his money in the bank at the start of his life he'd be richer than he is now.

Did they ever? People are fucking stupid and arguably always have been. They get bought by media narratives and utter bullshit.

Think Harry shoulda married that Chinese lass personally. East Asian people are hugely underrepresented in Western TV and cinema and moreover, she was a lot hotter than the one he ended up with.

Funny how when the right uses identity politics, the right runs rampant... and equally when the left uses identity politics, the right runs rampant. There's a lesson in there somewhere but fuck knows if any centre left politician will ever grasp it.

Very true.

How is this not getting more coverage? It's an absolute scandal: http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/792112/Marine-Le-Pen-French-election-votes-computer-Emmanuel-Macron Basically the French have issued duplicate polling cards to 500,000 people living outside of France. Which means they get to vote twice. And they're just going to let it stand. I mean, as much as anything that staves off Le Pen is a good thing, this is dubious as fuck.

Zelda is big, new and brilliant indeed. Took me upwards of 60 hours to totally finish it and I'm a Zelda veteran. Smash Bros is a great one to finish on as well, get the adrenalin going

Aye, real shame that. RIP. -
Are you thinking of formalising a twitch channel as well or is this just a one off? EDIT - or do you already have one?

Judging by that comment, you're not going to go Tory either. What do you mean he went full Tory anyway? As in agreed with them on everything?

It's interesting to hear him talking about China. Will he have a career to go back to after this? He's 28 or something isn't he? So out at 34 unless he gets an early release, but even then he'd be the wrong side of 30. I think he's finished, personally.
