I tidied that for you. And that's basically the size of it. It's quite an obsession of his. He's not the only one on internet forums who are like that but he's taken it to extreme levels. That's why he's banned here and on N-O. Because it overtook all the good / interesting stuff he had to say. How many times would he bring it up when it wasn't even close to what was being discussed on here? And in order to 'prove' he was right he would, more often than not, attribute views to people that they didn't even have or had ever had. People got sick of it. It's a shame in a way but I honestly don't think he was ever going to change (not in the long run anyway).

Cabaye would be better aye. Hypothetical anyway though. But to play either of the others there you'd need more of a 4-3-1-2 than them being on the point of a diamond. There's not a great deal of difference in the roles on the face of it but you need to be more responsible defensively if it's a midfield 4 / diamond than a free role behind the striker. I take your point, i.e. Marveaux would possibly be more of a 'continuity' player in there, i.e. someone who keeps things ticking over. I don't see it being realistic to play Marveaux in that role (i.e. the one you describe) and HBA somewhere else though. And you wouldn't sacrifice HBA just so you could play Marveaux in that role.

You need vision to play there. HBA has greater vision. It's a no-brainer tbh.

He mentioned Labour being a possibility, what with them being the original Euro-Sceptic party back in the day. I don't think the Lib-Dems'll be much help to anyone as they'll have about 6 seats. UKIP could certainly be a nuisance to the Tories in particular, especially in they concentrate on key marginals.

I heard the leader of UKIP on the radio after they came 2nd in 3 bi-elections recently and he basically said the Tories could kiss his arse if they wanted to form a coalition with them as they were still seething following Cameron's 'closet racists' comments. Not that he'd be the first political leader to go back on his word.

When you bring it to the table, just remember to ask: "Who wants stuffing?"

Marveaux's looked like he needs too long on the ball to me. Even in Europe. No coincidence he looked good with the extra space that came with playing against 10 men. It could be he's tryting to hard given his limited opportunities in fairness but I haven't seen a lot to convince me he's much cop. And, if I understand you right, CT, you're advocating playing him in the 'hole' behind a striker. That's one of the hardest roles to play, especially in the premier league where you got so little time to control the ball and decide what you're going to do with it. HBA is light years ahead of him in terms of ability, be that picking a pass, shooting, crossing, dribbling, first touch or whatever.
