Assuming that happens will you join the dots and consider that it may be because the owner didn't invest in the squad last summer after the team had qualified for Europe? Or didn't 'back his manager', if you like. Or will it all be down to the manager? I thought it was absolutely great (and I haven't watched it in years). We'll be lucky if we see another sporting year as good as 2012. I think on balance Bradley Wiggins was a just winner but any one of them would've probably been fair enough.

The reason you can't be bothered making the comparison is because you either didn't see us very often the season we came 5th under SBR (most likely) or know it doesn't back up the point you were trying to make. And I don't think anyone is claiming that we played great football last season, Certainly not week-in, week-out. It's absolute bollocks to say we were hanging on for dear life in most of those games though (as your post infers). Most of the time we were pretty assured defensively and closed out games with relative comfort.

I tidied that for you. And that's basically the size of it. It's quite an obsession of his. He's not the only one on internet forums who are like that but he's taken it to extreme levels. That's why he's banned here and on N-O. Because it overtook all the good / interesting stuff he had to say. How many times would he bring it up when it wasn't even close to what was being discussed on here? And in order to 'prove' he was right he would, more often than not, attribute views to people that they didn't even have or had ever had. People got sick of it. It's a shame in a way but I honestly don't think he was ever going to change (not in the long run anyway).
