tbf, the current system is all about carroll so signing those three players would alter the style of play massively. i'd rather we kept carroll obviously, but those three players plus cash, or a straight cash bid of 30m, both pretty decent offers for a player that's only had half a good season in the top flight is pretty good. the real sickener would be the message selling a local home grown player that's come through the ranks would send out.
