  1. holy bible was definitely the best manics album - raw as fuck and as tom said, richie's best lyrics before he walked. i don't think they ever hit those heights in any of the following years. i lost interest after everything must go - stadium rock tastic
  2. there's only one united. tell that to the fuck wit commentators who introduce our games against man u as "united against newcastle"
  3. can't see anything but a typically underwhelming ashley style transfer window. not being able to meet larsson's wage demands ffs
  4. odious welsh faceache off the pitch. great footballer on it.
  5. tbf we 'stepped aside' to let brum get bentley. who have we stepped aside for over larsson? i'm still waiting for that pleasant surprise we were promised years back.
  6. Was on RTG a while ago about 20% of their screen names were FTM at the end, and they did a poll about email addresses and 4 in 10 had FTM in them. Anyone who has SMB as their email address is a mug. Still trumped by the cunt who has "Ricky George" as his name - weapons grade bitterness as they'd say on Skunkers. Sunderland could win the Champions League and the SMB would be less joyous than when we lost to Marseille. Sweet Jesus, the Drogba avatars I forgot about that. Just popped over to the SMB and it's like late October all over again. Is the arrogance inherent? They're giving it the big'un and basically setting themselves up for a massive fall...again. I'd love to do the double over them but I can't see it. I have little faith in Pardew's tactics and with Tiote out we'll get overran in the middle of the park. If you offered me a dull as dishwater 0-0 draw now I'd take your hands off. The mackems will win this time though they will. I'll offer anyone 3/1 on a toon victory now. you're probably right but you never know this season. we've been so unpredictable, i've given up trying to predict results
  7. we all expect us to lose so i wouldn't be surprised if we pull out a win. that's been the story of the season.
  8. starting fights when pissed. tagging. a touch of vandalism. all when i was under 20 and a bit wet behind the ears i should add.
  9. Good enough for sbr. Good enough for pardew
  10. There was one on Robbie Savage last night which was as bad as you'll ever see, looked a nailed on leg breaker, and the bloke got off scott free. Regretably Savage is fine though. desveres a broken leg for the armani tatoo alone
  11. who the fuck's going to play the holding role in midfield now? not alan smith, please god.
  12. james allen was canny i thought
  13. Its not looking good at the moment. Enrique - ill (hopefully be ok) Tiote - out Big AC - Possibly out Jonas - Possibly out The Mackem Destroyer - Possibly out Their situation is looking just as bleak, if not worse. Smith for Tiote (along with Perch for Jose) makes my sphincter twitch more than anything. mines twitching like a rabbit's nose at the thought of it.
  14. Jesus I actually agree with Tom. 80% of the time they dish out an extra game now if the appeal fails, the very least it's an admittance of is it's so borderline it was a difficult decision, but deep down they have to support the referee when there are grey areas, which is a fuckin disgrace if you ask me. I don't agree like. You can count on one hand the amount of time an additional game ban has been added. Can't convince me that all those appeals that have been upheld is 'almost an admission they know they were wrong to do so'. There's been loads of examples, and a good few of them getting overturned like that Argentinian full back for Man City last week. Zabaleta that's it. Take Alliadiere when he was at Boro they appealled and he was given an extra game ban it's happened loads of times. Why did Tiote not receive the extra game when so many others have? I didn't see one person claim Zabaleta's red card shouldn't have been overturned. We couldn't even agree about Tiote's amongst a few people on a Newcastle message board. As for the examples, Alliadiere was a well reported one, but there's not been too many others. Can you find some stats to back up the 80% claim? I'm not Happy Face, I'll have a look later, but I bet it's a high percentage. 80 per cent surely?

David Blunkett could see that wasn't a yellow never mind a red, how can it be a red when you doesn't touch the man? He jumped aye, so fuck, his foot hit the ball from the side without even touching the player. If I do a star jump at the five a side should I be sent off cos I jumped?

  17. japanese spider crab - the world's largest crab
  18. your body needs and craves fat and will so its hardest to cling on to it. the kind of fad diets and weight watching plans that christmas tree and others have talked about in this thread can actually lead to fat retention. starving your body of essential fats - and calories - will put your body into starvation mode - as it is genetically designed to cling on to all the fat reserves it can. those diets will generally lead to a loss of muscle mass instead. as bizarre as it sounds a far more effective way to burn fat is to incorporate plenty of good fats in your diet like olive oil, nuts and seeds and a little dairy - while cutting transfats, products with added sugar and man made starchy carbohydrates such as white bread and pasta - eating the right number of calories that your body needs at regular intervals and exercising is a far more effective way to burn fat. again, it's all about burning fat and not losing weight. did i just steer the thread inadvertently back on topic?
