yup. when i signed up to them i said i only wanted it for a month (which i thought was the minimum subscription), so i could watch the calzaghe fight. they basically said fine. then when i came to cancel, they said they needed 30 days notice so i ended up paying for two months. there was no mention of this by the salesman when i paid up - if there was i would have had to cancel on the same day as subscribing. be warned

young, pacey and left footed...those sorts of players grow on trees so it'll ne no big loss
-
for a stag, it's probably got to the classic cheesy pub crawl taking in the quayside and the bigg market ending up in idols, or whatever it's called these days, for some jack the rippers

i wouldn't be at all surprised if we do go down. we're a rudderless ship and our performances so far don't suggest we're too good to go down the main worry is the thing that in other seasons, there's always been at least one or two clubs that looked certainties to go down by this stage of the season - it's wide open this year and there are three places up for grabns instead of one or two. the fact that wen't winning the home bankers like wigan and hull is a concern too
-
er, but the rest of us lose too, which isn't nice
-
it's hard to believe just how consistently crap we've become since then
-
no one wants us, we don't care

i still think we're short of a top class left back and i'm happy with beye and collocini. basong looks decent and probably deserves a chance ahead of taylor. taylor's a funny one, on his day looks top class but a little too eratic for me.

Who do you think will be the next manager?
Dr Gloom replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
fuck me, steve bruce? has it really come to that? assuming we get a new owner in with a bit of cash, i'd give the job to a foreign coach with a bit of nous who might attract a decent player. someone like sven, deschamps, hiddink, rijkard etc. i can't see any english coaches out there that are good enough -
a lot of over-priced english players in there. still can't believe we got £12m for milner like
-
not sure about that, but smith should definitely go before shola

Tom you are embarrassing yourself. yeah right, it's tom who's embarrassing himself. not the loser spuds fan that trolls opposing fans' forums

you have to feel sorry for anyone that comes from borough. what a truly horrible part of the world, a nothing town renowned for chemical plants, pollution and not much else. not only that but a football team so insignificant that not one of the nearby clubs consider them major local rival. it's no surprise really that boro fans resort to spending time on ourmessage board trying to wind us up given that they consider us their big rivls. it's more difficult to explain danny b's actions mind. what's his excuse?

what's going on in this thread?
-
the fact that we can go from bottom to 8th in two games shows how quickly things could go tits up again, it's that tight. this season is all about survival first and foremost
-
can't be that easy if you live in west sussex though can it?
-
good piece that
-
i don't see how we have much choice but to stick with him until the new owners come in. it's not like there's a queue of managers beatind down our door - hence why he got the job in the first place. and fair play, he's doing a canny job
-
yup. we're not out of the shit just yet. i think we need to know either way before the next window closes or it could still be a difficult season
-
They are quite limited if plan A doesn't work. Shit fans, shit side, shit club. MON's teams strengths are nornally to kick fuck out the opposition and play long ball football. They didn't even do that last night. Take Ashley Young away and they're a ridiculously mediocre side.

it's got to be before the window closes

let's not get too carried away or anything

Which wasn't bad at all tbf. i agree but shows you get sent off for that sort of thing these days. he should be keeping his nose clean not being petulant like that I know but that was a soft sending-off and so would this have been. Fair enough, he could have been sent off. Big deal though, storm in a tea cup. You just want him to play his natural game imo because if you shackle him, so to speak, he'd be a very ordinary player. shame he can't play his natural game without going in studs up or acting like a petulant kid. i have been very encouraged by his last couple of performances btw.
