go see the angel of the north up close. it's prtetty impressive. baltic gallery and a stroll up the quayside essential. walk around jesmond deane if the weather's nice. if you've got a car and like the great outdoors, a drive up to hadrian's wall and a walk is nice.

it's my favourite. i like a nice scotch but bourbon is less abrasive, more drinkable (more girly basically). i find with some scotch that it takes one or two before they start going down smoothly. borbon usually always slips down a treat from the off

i don't get why americans don't like nice lager. i just got back from vegas, it's light beer all the way out there. I don't think their taste in lager is any worse than most British people's like, do you? Even Bud Light is nicer than Carling. carling's piss though isn't it? i don't know anyone who drinks it, or many pubs that even sell it on draught anymore. british beer is all about real ales, not crappy lager. premium strength, continental lagers on the other hand are different gravy, and pretty much all you can get on tap in london bars. i can't understand why they don't stock them in most american bars. serioulsy, i just got back fromt he states and it's miller and bud light all the way over there. no nice, strong european lagers anywhere

i can see mancini getting the sack if they start poorly. he didn't do much better than hughes last year tbh and they're going to expect results with the amount of cash they're throwing around

11th would be more than good enough. 16th is probably what we all fear and expect - dreading every saturday and constantly looking over our shoulders.

i honestly couldn't say who our first choice right back is. it's the one real weak link in the defence, unless this perch lad turns out to be quality. not sure either simpson or ryan taylor are up to being our first choice right back in the premier league. hopefully perch will be.
