  1. You see i'm the opposite i dont think he'd have done the Sky interview if he didn't like the way Rafa was portraying him as the bad guy (we know he is) . I don't doubt Rafa's commitment but i can't help think he may have served his purpose for Ashley. He'll probably do everything in his power to make things difficult for him.
  2. Agreed but he's going in the opposite direction to the owner something will have to give. Rafa saying he's still commited but does Ashley want him ? has he done his job & got the club back in the premiership. Would Ashley now prefer a Pardew type rather than someone prepared to speak out publicly about transfers etc. Is Rafa now surplus to requirements ?
  3. Aye all that pretending he was one of the lads knocking back the beer he drew a lot of people in. I could go ìf i wanted as my son would take me in my wheelchair but the stunts he's pulled since he owned the club make me sick . As soon as he goes i'll go again not until then.
  4. Thats all i want to know really mate if people would chuck it or protest. I've never been in the ground since he took over no intention of going while he owns it.
  5. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/high-level-bridge-closed-live-13479124 High Level bridge shut due to suspicious package no trains traffic or pedestrians allowed on the bridge
  6. Rafa decides he's had enough, i cant see him continuing much past the close of the window unless there's a rapid thawing of relations between him & Ashley. With the prospect of Ashley getting another puppet in Rafa's place similar to McClaren, Kinnear or dare i say Pardew (no doubt Ashley's favourite as he made money from him leaving) would you fully support the Ashleyout.com group this time ? would Rafa leaving or being forced out be the thing that breaks the camels back . i can hear some of you say "it didnt work last time" or "he's got the ST money" my answer would be would Sky be as quick to broadcast games in an almost stadium ? we're already portrayed in the press of being "deluded geordies" this would send a message out that we are United & wont stand for it. What do you think ?
  7. Newcastle United have confirmed that defenders Florian Lejeune and Paul Dummett will be out of action for a number of weeks. Both players were forced off with injuries during the first half of Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park. Dummett limped off with a hamstring injury after just seven minutes, before Lejeune - making his Magpies debut - sustained ankle ligament damage during a tackle by Harry Kane. Assessments by the club's medical staff are continuing in order to establish the full extent of their injuries but both players are expected to be out for weeks, rather than months.
  8. Dont worry about money Mike's got it all in hand, hardly any transfer budget & expects Rafa to fijish mid table & win a cup "Fanks Mike"
  9. Joselu bargain basement striker probably not even Rafa's 4th or 5th choice & Ashley's challenge to Rafa is mid table & win a cup yeah right fanks Mike
  10. If/when Rafa goes everyone with a love for NUFC shouldn't set foot in SJP. What would be the point of going as the next manager would be in a similar vein to Kinnear/McClaren/Pardew another Ashley puppet. I'm afraid that is the calibre of manager we'd get as the job would be akin to a poison chalice.
  11. Those half hearted apologies to Keegan & Shearer were cringeworthy "if your watching Alan never say never" you've no chance of him ever coming back as long as your there.
  12. Martin Hardy said last week "when Rafa goes Newcastle United will crumble" i think he's right. I just cant see the fans letting that happen with just mild grumbling. The Ashleyout.com guys should come back out i'm fairly certain they'd be well supported if Rafa was forced to walk . He's held in the same regard as Keegan, Sir Bobby & Shearer.
  13. Good i'm glad Ashley wouldn't deserve him after he'd disrespected him. I'll tell you what Quiffy mate i felt sorry for Rafa today in that post match interview. We all know he's got a hell of a job on his hands now. He's definetly been sold down the river i doubt he trusts Ashley. Once the trust goes in anything thats it .
  14. His comments about Shearer regarding the managers job "If your watching Alan never say never" You'd like to think if Ashley tried to contact Shearer, Shearer would tell him to go fcuk himself.
  15. For this to ever work one of them are going to have to back down. On one side we have a brilliant man manager & footballing brain who is respected by the fans, on the other side we have an egotistical meglamaniac. Football & the fans will end up losing
  16. If Rafa walked away from this tomorow nobody could blame him .I'm sure if we could get a quote from Keegan about this he would say "i told you what he was like"
  17. How can Rafa work with this they're a million miles apart.
  18. Keegan left after the window closed on 1st September 2008 as you say this is looking very much like Keegan mark II.
  19. before the kick off i had this down as 0-3 but at half time i thought we just might get something out of this. Then 2 minutes into the 2nd half Shelvey pulls that stunt we already had 2 enforced subs. He could now miss between 3 & 5 games depending on how the FA see fit. It's Shelvey's fault we lost today because before the red card we were doing well it completley changed the game. It's a big game next week away to Huddersfield now.
  20. i can see Mitro now i was expecting him starting with Gayle on the bench given Gayles hamstring, confidence issues
  21. Shots have been fired by both Rafa & Ashley unfortunatley there'll only for us there'll only be one winner.
