  1. Numbers are creeping up again... "The UK has recorded 35,847 new COVID cases and 149 more coronavirus-related deaths in the latest 24-hour period, government data shows" This time exactly 12 months ago there were 972 new cases & 6 deaths. With 2 weeks to go until schools are back after the summer holidays. These figures are quite worrying.
  2. Might start seeing a few empty spaces on match days at SJP. Apparently there's about 9,800 unsold tickets for the Southampton game on Saturday. How long before we see "Generous Mike" giving them away.
  3. Serious question did Bruce's "decent well balanced squad" have any shots on target yesterday ?
  4. I hope the grass isn't "to green" or the floodlights "to bright" at SJP on Wednesday night for the Burnley game
  5. Steve Bruce @ Villa Park. 2021. " We trained all week in dry conditions and today at Villa Park the rain was very wet which we didnt prepare for" There's a revelation "the rain was very wet" Fuck off man.
  6. Just looking on Sky Bet for Spurs v Wolves tomorrow & Kane doesn't feature in any bets. It was the same last week against City. They're obviously not expecting him playing.
  7. Wilson & ASM must be hoping someone makes a bid for them this week
  8. This from yesterday's presser. He's fucking mental "decent balanced squad" 😁 Journalist You have got Joe into the building now, can we expect any further additions before the window closes? Is defence maybe one area that you will be looking to add?” Steve Bruce: “Well, I’m never going to say never" “I didn’t think we’d be able to buy Joe the way we did" "And if somebody comes along which can help us, then we will try and act. “So far, you know, we have got a decent balanced squad.”
  9. Not much of a pre season. "Ah fuck it just throw him on" "I would have loved Joe Willock to have a few more minutes under his belt. "The good thing about Joe is he’s a naturally fit young man. So, he’ll definitely be involved.
  10. Big Jow's Newcastle stats £40 million well spent Premier League Record appearances 70 Goals 6 Assists 4
  11. Probably Brucey holding a grudge after Sean told him he was "a shit manager" during last season.
  12. Hardly surprising In the aftermath of the collapse and 4-2 defeat to West Ham, Steve Bruce asked if there would be any further signings before the transfer window closes: “Possibly. “I still think that there are a lot of clubs who will do a lot of work in the next few weeks I would have thought. “I have always said that when you are in the loan market, then you have got to be patient, because you’ve got to wait. “We have been patient with Joe [Willock] so look, let’s see what becomes available. “If something becomes available then we will try and act. "I can go back to Jetro Willems, how well he did as a loan signing, Joe being a loan signing as well did fantastic, so we will see what develops.”
  13. Newcastle havecput a valuation of £10 million on Sean Longstaff
  14. Yeah I used to go to the Broken Doll as well mate on our Friday Night pub crawl. That Slalom D was lethal stuff
  15. The football matches are a minor irritant Ashley has to put up with at SJP. To enable him to advertise Sports Direct on Worldwide Tv
  16. Same old same old. Mind it was hard to expect anything else really when we haven't strengthened the team. We end the1st weekend 15th in the league. I doubt there'll be much improvement on that this season. Fanks Lee for signing Willock, oh & fanks for not registering him in time you dickhead. Another outstanding bit of work.
  17. It'll be 55 minutes of "were's 'Arry" a couple of adverts &;straight to SJP.
  18. Theyre going to parade Willock around the ground like he's the signing of the century. Yet the dozy bastards couldnt even get him registered in time for todays game. Fucking pathetic man.
  19. EI'm looking forward to seeing how the new lads play in the team. Willock to be introduced to the crowd before kick off apparently
