This puts things into some perspective as to how far we''ve gone backwards NUFC had 24 premiership wins in the 95/96 season We have 25 premiership wins from 2015/19

7 days in & not a sausage I feel sorry for Rafa he must be pissed off. -
I understand that but I think he's probably had enough now & will see out his contract.
-
We now have 5 games in 21 days Chelsea (a) 12th Jan Blackburn (a) FA CUP 15th Jan Cardiff (h) 19th Jan Man City (h) 29th Jan (BT) Spurs (a) 2nd Feb (Sky)

I'll be honest mate I think Rafa realises he's done as much as he can here. He's fighting a losing battle window after window. Now he's being nothing short of blackmailed. I think he'll be now looking for another "project" nobody could/should blame him. He's done great & is well desrved of his legendary status regarding NUFC.
-
Why for the same shit show next year i'd be even happier if Ashley fucked off. Rafa "Here I've signed it" FCB "Here's £5 million spend it wisely" Rafa "Fuck he's done it again"
-
If you don't sign there's no transfer funds. Rafa should tell him to go fuck himsel.
-
Your right Rafa isn't without blame he should at the very least have dragged Joselu's sorry arse off at the 50 minute mark & replaced in with Rondon. But let's also give the guy a break he's been thoroughly shafted by Ashley for the 3 seasons he's been here. He must question himself as to what the hell he's done to deserve this.
-
Inbetween Chelsea (a) 12th January & Cardiff (h) 19th January
-
When's the replay ? serious question lads
-
He's probably as pissed off as us lot & is just running the clock down until he leaves in May. There's no incentive for him here now. I think it's taken him a while but I think the penny's finally dropped
-
It was a horrible game between 2 championship teams
-
Horrible game it was a soft penalty we now have an extra gameon top of the relegation fight.
-
Awful first half Joselu had about 3 chances he's crap

I always thought Shearer was a canny bloke myself -
Here's the letter make of it what you will... The Peter Kenyon letter to Mike Ashley: “I know I speak for both of us in that we continue to share a serious determination to finalise the agreement we have to suit both parties as soon as possible in the new year. “We have both spent many months discussing the parameters of a final deal and as you know we have also invested heavily in time and money on our various legal and financial advisors. “And I appreciate the time and effort committed to the detailed discussions by your advisors, lawyers, club, and, of course, yourself. “I fully respect your desire to ensure the next owners of Newcastle United understand the club, football, and have the appropriate financial resources, and I am delighted that you think the investor group led by myself is the best fit. “On my side, I would like to personally assure you that I am committed to conclude our deal as soon as possible and, while we are both perhaps frustrated that we have not progressed as quickly as we would have wished. “I would like to express personal gratitude for your patience and integrity in

Also I would have thought any potential buyers would like to see we're secure in the premiership. The way things are they could be paying top $ for a championship club in a few months. I still think it's smoke & mirrors to avoid any unrest with the match goers
-
Ha ha ha 2 weeks ago he was £100 million shy of Ashleys asking price. Even if he's managed to get that (I doubt it ) were's the money for new players, training facilities & giving SJP a make over ?
-
Aye the 3 relegations in a decade trophy
-
This from Rafa's press conference Rafa Benitez on transfers. . . When asked if he will speak about transfer at all this month. This might be my position for the whole of January, maybe, & then I might talk on February 1 but we will see Rafa Benitez on his aims When I decided to come it was because of the potential of the club & everything. I like to have a project, be ambitious, & first of all get into the top 10. I understand how they feel, but now I have to do my job to keep us up Rafa Benitez on expectations The problem here is that the expectation is big because of how massive the club is. But we are in a situation we do not deserve to be in because we are such a big club with massive potential, but we have to make sure we stay up

We'vs never been past the 4th round since Ashley's owned the club
-
1-2 nice early exit can't be having a cup run get in the way of our relegation fight again.
