Carroll was meant to be going on loan for the season. Not sure what the situation is now though. he is basically a better sibierski, better suited for likes of owen and martins

i dont think any signings this year will be rushed into, big sam doesnt seem the type to just sign players for the sake of it. it seems by the end of the week we should have ben haim, rozehnal, barton, viduka. which is great for early june, i cant remember a time when we got rid of 6 players and signed 4 in the first few weeks of post season.
