I don't think we just rely on HBA, We got a good bunch of players in midfield and the new players are looking good. Gosling was really good against The Crew and that Abeid looks alright I wasn't saying we were dependant on HBA per se - just that if our contemporary midfield were to equal the ability of the 2002 midfield HBA would need to be on form. Ah yeah gotcha.

I like him too, We got a 20 year old who plays for his country (fair enough Hungary) but he has played a handfull games an I thought he looked good. It's like Tozer, when we got him it was a big transfer cause he had so much potential then we get rid of him without giving him much chance. Yet Nile Ranger gets game after game... I quit exactly 5 weeks ago in Afghan which was hard enough when your paying $1 a pack or $2 a 50g pouch but I feel great now and my fitness has already improved. Can't say I don't fancy one now an again though.

.com made a reasonable point - why didn't Pardew call up Kadar instead of Dummett? Kadar can play LB can't he? I'd like to think it's because Dummett is specifically a LB whilst Kadar is more versatile and doesn't specialise in any one defensive position. edit; just came across this quote from a few years ago: "In Bolton they would count me as a left-sided defender and in Newcastle I would play in the centre of the defence. I admit this (central) is my favourite place on the pitch." Apparently Pardew just doesn't fancy Kadar which sucks cause he looks good. Source? Or are you just going on lack of game time since Pardew came in, which is fair enough.
