  1. Excellent reference Mr. Fist, have an ear worm now and will have to break that record out
  2. Maybe he's had a change of heart. Maybe he's turning the page and we're about to enter a new age of investment and ambition....
  3. Ashley looked emotional there a second. Think he even wiped a tear. Let's see the protests now.....
  4. Hernandez just punched Jones in the gut. Would have been nice had the ref seen it and put Hull a man down.
  5. Not sure how Hull didn't score there. Man U really do look absent. Now Rooney going to take this opportunity to exit.
  6. Man U don't look like they give a sh|t honestly. Our only hope there is a scoreless draw or own goal. Manure don't look like they are up for much of an effort today. Hope I'm a jinx in that respect.
  7. live coverage of a local affiliate showing a fire truck spray down an overturned tanker truck on the channel that is supposed to show Hull. How is it important breaking news to show endless coverage of the FD hosing down a truck. Looks like I'm going to actually watch us go down instead of watching Hull stay up. I really think we'll be staying up today for some reason...
  8. .... but for the massive walls of narcolepsy inducing text.
  9. He's baiting you man, only logical explanation I can come up with.
  10. The only way Ashley would have a thought about selling is if we do go down. As much as we like to think of him as a sinister villain, he's a keen businessman and in the end it's about the money for him. His heart is clearly not in the team anymore. Fan boycotts won't really phase him or harsh words in the press or on message boards. It's about two things : the massive TV money and the free advertising for SD during those lucrative TV games. If we go down, he loses both of those carrots and any interest in the club. Problem is, he will be calling for his money, gut whatever remains in a massive liquidation and sell an empty husk of a club. All that said, I prefer going down to watching no better than mid-table, no ambition, no quality play year after year in a pointless, futile existence.
  11. It comes down to this really. Hoping they are not successful against Arsenal today and that next week has some significance for them. Although I do think that Man U is chock full of raging egos and surely a couple of them will be out in full force next week regardless.
  12. He injured his knee in the Africa Cup. You've probably already seen his last game for the Toon
  13. Look, the Hammers have their flip flops on and absolutely no reason to take the field. There is absolutely no reason we won't pick up the three points we need against one of the worst teams in the league. All of this pointless pessimism is counterproductive. Newcastle 1 2 Hammers Wonder who the creepy looking middle aged Dutch woman will start against Hull?
  14. Worried about the lad now, anyone been checking the bridges? The Pod's only a couple days away, probably hear from him then.
  15. Nope, remember there's no way they can beat us. They are already down, worst in the league and have no chance of beating us.... or something.
