Oh right. That's the striker from the 2nd tier euro league team I mentioned, though perhaps I was a bit harsh with my characterization of him. Maybe he'll turn out great. I don't think Montpellier will accept bargain offers for Cabella and I think there are other PL clubs bidding. I think that talk about Siem de Jong will bubble up again although I think maybe his value has gone up since the club last floated interest in him.

Never fear. Pards is just waiting until after the Cup. Wouldn't want us to make a play for what could turn out to be damaged goods and such. I'm sure there will be a veritable flurry of activity afterwards.... Or we'll sign some marginal striker from a 2nd tier euro league team and get a nearly washed-up midfielder on loan. Good times ahead. Really thought that they would have done something by now....

I love the Snarks, very handy. Be careful swiveling the display around. The tabs on the back of the housing that hold the ball joint for the clip can break if you are rough on it.

I have this picture on a filing cabinet in my office. One of the guys I work with comes in and sits down to talk, which he does at least once a day. So he keeps glancing up at the picture which has been there for a couple of months. All of a sudden he stops and cracks a stupid grin. he says, "You know, I've been looking at that picture for the past month when I talk to you. I just got it". Heh.

You have to check the app price as well. Not sure if that price you listed is just for the jack and then you have to shell out for the app (Amplitube or whatever). Some of those cost a bit extra and then you may find that you get a small handful of basic effects with the stuff you really want 'available as an in-app purchase'. You may be better off looking at a little solid state amp that has built in effects and cabinet modeling. Most of the newer ones even come with USB ports and free software to set your effects, etc. up through a computer and record tracks as well (Fender Mustang I, Mustang II, etc. for example). If you want to go old school, you can probably pick a small tube amp up fairly cheap and look at the price of multi effects processing units like a DigiTech which are pretty reasonable and compact these days.
