They should all vote for 'no clubs to be relegated then'.
-
The top clubs are the big money generators for the Premier League, they hold the power. I doubt it would be as democratic as a majority vote gets their way.
-
Well if it was proposed by him in 2007 then there's reasons nobody warmed to it, probably down to stuff that I said, worse teams entering etc. Fish says Portsmouth and Wigan would be less likely because the bigger teams would be taking it seriously. But the 3 biggest teams would already be qualified and most teams below that do take it seriously. The nature of a knockout competition means that there'll always be surprise teams going all the way. And what happens when a top 3 team wins the F.A cup? Runners up get the CL place? Imagine the dross that that would have qualified over the years!

The CL is UEFA's competition, they can set parameters as to how qualification has to be achieved surely.
-
But wasn't that part of the merger with the Cup Winner's Cup? I'm not sure UEFA would let cup winners into the CL, having Portsmouth or Wigan in it ahead of bigger more established clubs would be seen as devaluing the competition. They only want the Elite.

I was under the impression that they were assigned to the Premier League rather than the F.A

Winner of North East Top Dogs should get a place too.

I'm aware of the time zones you fucking flid, that's why I couldn't have worked it out, and that's why I asked you what time it is. Christ. -
I'd say a CB's best years are generally between 28-32 and the reason for that is that is because that's when their mature head overlaps with being at their peak physically. They reach their physical peak earlier though. I think Colo needs a physical partner over a footballing one, and Richards is preferable in that sense to anyone we have.

Nah, Catts for them still.

I'm guessing the lad from Forest is probably being seen as the future.
-
I reckon it'd be a loan-out loan-in thing if it happens. We wouldn't go in with Wilo ST and Colo, surely
-
I think a Richards Colo partnership would be class.

All of the signs slapping every supporter in the face that we aren't signing a striker, Ryder publishes a 'fresh enquiry for Remy' article. Wouldn't make much of a detective would he? -

5 match ticket deal for the home games immediately following the closure of the transfer window, as well as being in talks re: lifting the ban of the local press. You'd be forgiven for thinking they're bracing themselves for a little bit of criticism over the next couple of weeks or so. -
That's not what we do. If he plays well we sell for a profit then buy someone for a fraction of what we receive hoping he'll be as good. I'd love him to be here and motivated for us. But the reality is we can't really win here. If he came it'd only be with get out clauses I'm fairly sure. If he played well for half a season he'd line a move up elsewhere and be off like a bullet, and probably turn out half-arsed for the rest of the season.

Palace set for some new manager bounce on Saturday.

Fabulous piece of Karma him failing that medical. I hope his career rots I really do.

It's difficult to know whether that's what Pardew actually said or whether it's been Rydered

Remember his first few games for us an his pass completion was crazy high. Didn't put a foot wrong for ages.
