Your eyes should adjust. I'd give it a week (if you're wearing them constantly) and if they still feel dodgy then go back.

It's at the Raddisson Blu so I should be fine from the station, but thank you. It did sound more than a bit stalker-ish though

Christmas shopping practically done so I'm pretty skint but thanks to a gift of pennies from my mam after her retirement from work, I've booked a nice hotel for a couple of nights in Scotland for a charity ball run by our very own Scottish Mag. See you there Ritchie and others

He's a boy. He'll discover it, play with it and never leave it alone for the rest of his days.

Could you point me toward where I may find said advice from the Meenzmeister?

Cheers, I'll pass on your wisdom

I really have dragged this thread from the depths but couldn't find a more recent one. A friend of mine is going to Berlin for New Year - what does she need to see/do/avoid? Thank you

I think it's fair to say that I've had better working weeks.

You'll be seen by a specialist chronic pain anaesthetist instead of a surgeon - they do injections and epidurals for pain control but they can be more precise than the ones you've had already as they do them under x-ray control so they can more finely tune the target area that they inject. Are you staying at our hospital cos we've got 2 specialist anaesthetists that do pain clinics? Let me know when you know who you'll be seeing and I'll brief you

Perspective. I spend most of Friday night battling to save the life of a young lad who had attempted suicide in the same way that my own cousin did a year ago. My cousin succeeded, but we managed to save this one - for the short term anyway. It was only about an hour into the battle that I realised it was the son of a colleague.
