That is naive at best from you Fop - you and I both know that paki causes offence because it's mostly used in the context of 'fuck off you paki bastards' or similar. If you think it's an acceptable form of abbreviation for someone from Pakistan, try saying it whilst wandering around certain parts of Bradford and see how far it gets you. (One of the busiest A & E departments in the country, thanks in no small parts to Asian gangs battering the shit out of each other, would be my guess). Fop's a bit of an Isreali apologist though isnt he? Probably something of that nature behind it I'd guess. Ridiculous statement to come out with whatever the reason of course. So basically you cannot refute my point, only try to throw muck and hope that it sticks - still a LOT to learn my boy. I alligned myself with the views expressed by Luke, which of course are the 'real world' position here. They refute your point completely. Bit tetchy today? We've not had one of your precious flounces for a while Nope you attempted to throw muck. (and failed - must try harder) My non-emotive understanding of the Middle-East has little to do with anything in this thread (although my understanding of humans has quite a lot to do with it)..... actually come to think of it how to you explain my support for Kurdish independence? Cobblers. You got a new catchprhrase btw? -

Not nowt, just we know more. Its not a 'NHS Worker' thing, a lot of it is common sense and being a little more educated in this area does make us more qualified to speak on the subject. I've looked after alot of attempted suicides and been unable to save others. All of their reasons varied and some seemed petty. But what means nothing to me may mean everything to someone else. Its all about perception and how that is affected by a mental illness, which is what depression is. Being someone who has lost a family member and a friend, only just last year, I can honestly agree the aftermath for everyone left behind is horrendous. But there is no way I can imaging how horrific and desperate life must have been for them, their past their present and how they obv fear the future. Often those left behind have no idea why it has happened. depressed people can be extremely clever at hiding things until its too late and they implode. its a myth that most suicides leave a note. Their frame of mind and their illness is such that they can't think of anyone else or the consequences of their actions, they just need a release and an escape. It may seen a cowards way out to some, but I'd never have the guts to go through with that kind of thing, who's to say that makes me a stronger person, who's to say I'm not the coward cos I couldn't do it, then again my frame of mind isn't jaundiced. Personally as a single parent that would never be an option for me, but what is something happened to my child, god forbid. You just can't say, just like you lot can't presume. I rest my case m'lud. you're a total tit sometimes. Leave Snakey alone you stinky pig. ? 9.57. I do my swearing after 10pm you cunting minge.

Personally I'd recommend the Northern Quarter (making sure you don't include the Printworks in that). Start there and then work your way back down Deansgate. If you're over two days/fancy a bit of bling you might want to try Cloud 23 in the Hilton and then Deansgate Locks. Could work you way up to Canal Street from there. Keep the noise down if you do the Hilton though as I'm only 14 floors above the bar what, what. I'm a bit out of touch with clubs being a 'young 30's' myself. For me it's always been about 5th Ave (where Greg is banned) but thats across town. Ampersand etc are sposed to be decent tho. Depending on how red blooded you're getting, the Jack the Rippers are on Deansgate.

Fair do's like. Conversely, if I was in the company of a group of whites and one Asian and everyone was referring to him as 'Paki' I'd be utterly ashamed. -

Great imagery to the thread title btw. I'm visualising something akin to the metamorphosis in American Werewolf in London, but just his bollocks.
