I read somewhere on here that Villa are on the brink with how much they have/can spend and was wondering if a load of Champions League money would help them get through it rather than having to sell a number of their key players. Not sure if Tottenham are in the same position.

In terms of FFP, would we bet better off if Tottenham or Villa made the final Champions League spot?

Do you think that we set up Juventus which us why it is not called Turin? Most people would claim that it is called Juventus because Juventus means youth and it was set up by kids from a hight school. I don't think this is the case, no logical explanation for why I disagree with it, it just will not fit with my narrative. Newcastle have black and white stripes and Juventus have black white stripes. I have now concluded and can confidentiality, albeit incorrectly, confirm that Newcastle played a pivotal role in their foundations. Who wants to join the Juventus Magpies? Nah, me neither.

Why do I have a memory of him not playing for absolutely ages when we first signed him? I cannot believe he has only missed 7 games since he signed. It is an impressive statistic.

100% agree. The original point made was that we had youth on the bench and we could have used them. All I was saying is that in a situation where you are trying to see out a 1-0 win, Dummet was clearly the right call for Howe. The mistake is all on Dummet.

To be fair on Howe, Dummet should have been the safe option here.

I think this is a post too close to the game. Yes we could/ should have scored a few more. Fact is, without the pen, Everton would have nothing from the game. We have no Pope, Trippier, Botman, Lascelles, Tino, Joelinton, Miley, Tonali, Miggy, Gordon or Wilson. A draw was not a fair reflection of the game but football is not fair. I doubt the West Ham fans feel the pen was a fair decision a few days ago.

Disappointing but we were 3-1 down the other day and we have managed to get 4 points from the two games. Things like this are annoying but happen in football. I am furious with Dummet and I really hope that there is some form of bollocking for him. The foul offered us nothing but ended up costing us 2 vital points.

What is it that we did that other fan bases who have protested have not done? The only thing that sticks out for me is that bloke who did the NUFC coffin but every single fan base has their own version of him. I guess there is the bloke who punched the horse but one of their fans did exactly the same thing. I have not heard of one of our fans shitting on a seat but I have seen some questionable things down the Bigg Market. I just do not get the moral superiority when their city is such a dump.

Are Tino and Miggy injured?

There have been times that they have signed players and I have been frustrated that we didn't go for them (Bent, Johnson, Defoe, Rodwell) but I have not held that belief for any period of time afterwards.
