It is all in context. I think to have sold the Bellingham kid and then replaced him with Xhaka is good business for the position they are in. I imagine that the players must be of some quality as their manager was in France not too long ago. Even when Sunderland do go back down, at least they can say that they have given it a go. I have zero idea if any of their signings are any good. I am also not sure if they were forced into getting the new goalkeeper.

I wanted to joke that he hasn't ruled out Sunderland but they do seem to be having a good transfer window.
-
The bid hasn't been accepted yet.

Can this just end sooner rather than later. I do think if he goes there, then there is a good chance that Manchester United could have a good go at it next year. No Europe. Amorin will have a preseason under his belt and players to boot. I don't think it would be a bad move for him. I still think he would be better off under Howe if his end game is a move to Real Madrid.

It was pure drama. As much as it is gutting, it was highly entertaining. It is amazing how a format of cricket that spans over 5 days can offer such high levels of excitement. I love test cricket.

Did Man U not just show they are £2 billion in debt?

I don't think him taking time to decide shows his preference for Manchester United. This will be an important step in his career and it will be a decision that he will want to get right. Manchester United had a bad season but we finished level on points with them the year before. From a perspective of someone who watches the Premier League each year, I think Manchester United looks like a mess but I wonder if people around the world have the same view. I would imagine that the vision Howe has is a better one based on the way he handled Fraser and the likes of Hendrick, Clarke and Hayden goinf quietly on loans. They seemed to have more dignity given to them compared to the Rashford saga. Hojlund has been there 1 season with shite service.
-
Nothing I have seen about Howe points to this. Howe is the complete opposite to showing off. This is very much showing that there is a chance that Isak can working earn his way back. Seems a bit of a pointless thing to say if he is set to go.
-
This isnm the first bit of news that makes me think Isak may be staying. If he wasn't, the statement would be irrelevant.
-
I think they could have used NUFC much better if that was the case. If there were some good 'unknown' names in the Saudi League, it would have been ideal to do some 6 month loans to us. Showcase the talent that people are missing by not watching their product or to the players for not being part of it. They could even have started with us and moved onto the likes of Everton, Brentford and Bournemouth to loan them players on favourable terms. I feel it is just poor management.
-
I don't think for 1 second this is going to work. It should do. How on earth you could accept £100m after this and it could be a really easy bench mark.
-
It is a bit of a piss take. I am starting to think we have not been whiter than white in our dealings and it is a case of the people above Howe have been inept. Everyone else has managed to buy players (Lampard for Man City) and made it work whilst we have had no strategic direction. It is not as if us loaning a few players from Saudi would have been even remotely questionable. Henderson (I am not stating we should have loaned him) went out and wanted away straight away. There is not way that NUFC could not have found out that 1 or 2 players had felt the same way. Saudi have dig Chelsea and Liverpool out of big messes which has then resulted in NUFC being up shit creak when trying to bring players in. Why didn't Hayden go to Saudi on a loan fee?
-
He was in his whites with his black sling on. I agree with you, @Alex that a draw in the series is probably the fairest result. On the other hand, I think they were extremely lucky to draw the last game. Maybe poor decision by England to bat for as long as we did.
-
This has been an entertaining series.

Didn't someone say this is something to do with the two difference Manchester United Businesses. I am assuming it is the same as Villa and Chelsea selling the women's team to 'themselves'. I think it just shows how much of a snake Ratcliffe is as there is more than enough money altogether to pay for these staff.
-
If we did buy Sisko and sold Isak. Would £30m be worth a punt to see if Howe could get a tune out of Hojlund?
-
How many summers do NUFC have to ruin in my lifetime?
-
Could he not just ask for less money at Man U if he was that bothered about his wages?
-
Man U fans must surely understand why he would wanr to stay at such a prestigious club. They may not be in the Champions League this year but they are a legacy club. Top bloke Rasmus.
-
Yet we will all be on Isak's back for a while if he does stay (in many respects there is a justification). I think he has been done over and had some.bad advice. We were not happy with Gordon at the start of the season and he was a Liverpool fan growing up.
-
I also feel disappointed in myself. I often set myself low bars but systematically seem to miss them.
-
@Gemmillcan you let us know how disappointed you are that he has chosen Man U over us? Might speed the process up. I did not think I superstitious until I joined this board.

I agree. The worry for me is who they leave the door open to. I just cannot understand how someone can have a life experience that can provide some real insight yet they are still completely ignorant.
