Only issue I have with this is whether we are looking at Wilson 2025 or the fact that Isak was brought in to replace Wilson? He was a top, top player. If it is the latter, we should be getting a player who would hopefully be unsettling Isak in 2/3 years or so we can sell him for a wedge. That is ignoring the whole Isak drama.

Matt Targett to Middlesbrough on loan for a year by the looks of things.

It is a painful experience to go through. I have done this three times in my career life and each one has left me with regrets. I love that Howe is still protecting Isak.

Last dig at Mitchell.

I am not sure how much he would proof read and also what advice he has been given. I have an IT service provider at work. They have told me that I need to get rid of loads of the hardware as it is put of date. I have to trust their advice as that is what the company are paying them to give us the advice and expertise. No good me believing that I can get another year out of the x amount of laptops etc.

What is hard here is we do not know what he has been told. I doubt that the players are there for contract negotiations so we don't know what he thinks was promised to him as well. If he has been advised that NUFC had promised x, then refused to deliver and Liverpool and willing to off x+ and this is the only narrative, you can see why he feels used. There is also the information that we are saying we are only willing to accept £150m. Is he on the same wages as a player who costs £150m? There is a lot of narrative that can be pushed to him to make him feel completely shafted. I don't feel sorry for him. I was in the sell Isak camp when there was none of the drama.

Bloody hell. He seemed like an alright lad as well. Shows that you never know (players seemed just as shocked as us fans). I wonder what has happened with Mitchell or whoever it is who he thinks has screwed him over. He is 100% in the wrong but I do believe that something has happened that has caused upset even if it is his misunderstanding. Liverpool have also screwed him over here. My naivety would love Liverpool to walk away to show how they have screwed him over but, if that did happen, it would just boil down to is and Isak looking like idiots. They are such a scummy club.

I still think Hojilund would be an interesting one (also meantioned in tweet). He was hailed as a potential player before they got him. Looking at what Manchester United do to players I think the satisfaction if he turned into a star here would be so enjoyable.

Longstaff on now.

Masters watching on as well.

Only justification was the leaning into it? What else was he going to do,.let it just go past? I get the ref giving it in real time as the arm may have looked further out. VAR should have overturned it.

Midget arms were never reaching that.

Never a penalty.

I have seen a lot of comments from the Manchester United fans claiming they 'were by far the better team'. Did I watch the same game as everyone else? I just did not get that from watching them. They may not be as awful as they were last year but I didn’t get the feels that they were a force to be feared moving forward.

It is hard to know what the noise is. Would we let Isak go if we got Wissa or would we say he was a Wilson replacement? Noone knows what has and has not been promised. Was Isak promised a transfer? We say no. Was Wissa promised a transfer?
-
I can't believe this but I also cannot believe he is ok strike.

That was enjoyable to watch. I cannot see Manchester United challenging for top 4 this year based on that. It was like watching us under Rafa. We would be giving it a go and you went away disappointed not to get a point but you knew all day long that you were not going to get a goal and if you did, you were probably going to concede straight afterwards.

Up until I read this, I thought someone had put a hologram over a picture. That was a worry in itself. This is what I mean. How can anyone hate a club that offers these things? So many opportunities to realise it was a stupid idea. 1 The idea 2 The idea said out loud 3 Seeing it as an image 4 the feedback from the company making it.

If we are going to get less than £130m I think we need to pull rank and not sell him. The club being bigger than the player is important to stop Liverpool doing this to us again. We know they have form for it. They will attempt it again but we need a line in the sand. This is not going to stop a single player signing for us. Noone is looking in on this, other than some deluded Liverpool and probably Manchester United fans thinking that Isak is hard done by. Part of me wouldn't mind him going there and doing this for his move to Real Madrid, however, I think he would suit their system really well and I am ashamed to admit that, as a grown man, it would annoy me.

I'm not convinced he would have got us the 3 points today. Not saying he wouldn't. He doesn't tend to put away the chances that we didn't today. On the other hand, I am aware how lethal he can be. The biggest thing for me today was not having a Gordon or Barnes off the bench.
