  1. Have Sunderland announced the secret signing? I thought they had some striker who was supposed to be playing today but I don't think there was any follow up.
  2. I want to hold my hands up and apologise. I put the game one just before Liverpool scored number 3 and now they have got 4. I feel responsible.
  3. I don’t think Liverpool looked special last year and they haven't so far in this game.
  4. I know it may sound daft, but he has scored a lot of goals there where they were at 0-0 or level or behind. I think that is a big difference to scoring those goals than the ones that extend the lead. His movement looks excellent.
  5. How do we go from a season of the prices in the media coming out with "If Isak had been in the Arsenal line up instead of the NUFC line up the outcome would have been completely different". "Isak was the real game changer." "Arsenal are really missing an Alexander Isak". Basically, if they were correct, 2024-2025 Premier League Champions would have been Arsenal instead of Liverpool. 2025 League Cup winners are Liverpool (even if he had went to Arsenal) How is he not a £150m player then? TAA commanded a £9m transfer fee for 1 month and a pointless tournament.
  6. The priest has to be the highlight. I am sure he was the first 'character' who is introduced and I was thinking 'what the f**k is going on here'. Little did I know that this was a very apt start to the hilarity. I have told two of my mates to watch it and they are having none of it. Not watching a documentary about Sunderland. No hate, they just don't care about them. I have used the Office as the link on numerous occasions. The woman who hated Metvin. Him making up the attendance at the game. It is just comedy gold. I remember wanting an NUFC bedroom as a kid. There are adults on the show with SAFC wall paper haha. I genuinely do not think they could have created a mockument that would have been as amusing. Who would believe that there would be a priest who spends his sermons talking about a football team. It is just nuts.
  7. It is hard to despise Sunderland. They are a gift that keep giving. I eventually gave in and watched Sunderland Till I Die. That was probably one of the best comedies I have watched. The thing that made it top tier was they way they tried to produce it in a way to not make them a laughing stock but it was not possible. For them to eventually give up on the idea of filming it and them making it back to the Premier League in the space of 2/3 years is also hilarious. The fixing of the seats. The scene in the pub where the new owners criticised Short for putting his own money in and how they would only be using the generated money to a round of cheers. The bid for Grigg. It just never stopped delivering.
  8. Where would we sit with this if we went to sue him? If he wants to go, that is reasonable. If Liverpool want him, that is reasonable. If he does go on strike, his worth is severely damaged. Surely we can sue him for damages just like Chelsea sued Mutu.
  9. And Jack Grealish, it seems appropriate given how slowly they seem to work.
  10. Is it the line that we don't seem to ge able to get the players over?
  11. I was thinking of what Chelsea did to Mutu when he was done for drugs.
  12. Hank Scorpio, cracking character. I still think they need to bring back the character at some point.
  13. I think this is a win as we are in control of who leaves the club. I don't feel in the slightest bit sorry for the football players when this happens. He is not trapped, he signed the contract. People will say that he was in a different position when he signed the deal until now. That is irrelevant. Hayden was on a contract that probably disn’t suit the club. Again it is irrelevant It is a gamble. There is no way Isak downed tools. He has made some poor mistakes but the next thing we know, he is going to be the reason for hunger around the world.
  14. Is this like the Longstaff saying the defenders do not like Pope?
  15. Are we trying to sign enough players who are going to play in AFCON so we can postpone our games if the situation suits? Isn't that what we were accused of during Covid?
  16. It is not that straightforward to demonstrate on anything though. There is a lot of people, regardless of the cause, who turn up to these things to cause damage, and incite violence. They are not always the people with the most limited of vocabulary either.
  17. Is it old news that Parish has said they are going to sell Guehi (must be to Liverpool) this summer?
  18. Just saw the result. That is a nice end to the day.
  19. If there was an competence in the people above Howe, they should be making it clear to Isak that if Liverpool had actually wanted him, they would pay for him. That if they had wanted Gordon they would have bid for him. That if Liverpool had really wanted Isak, the bid would have been made before Ekitike. That the priorities of Liverpool were to get him first. Liverpool could have easily spoke to Frankfurt and said, 'We are buying Isak then coming in for Ekitike'.
